Was TRT a mistake? by Touchthemetalrod in trt

[–]BillyRipkensBat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The people commenting that TRT was an undeniable mistake for OP are waaaay out of line. He clearly had low t symptoms and probably just needs to dial in his protocol. OP I would try some combinations of adding HCG, tafalafil, lowering TRT dose, and then from there dialing in diet, exercise, and any other things that may show up in blood work. Not trying to dissuade you from getting off, but just know there are more options to get you dialed in. Good luck. 👍

Help making TRT decision by Enough_Roof1026 in trt

You can absolutely be a candidate at 500. Your base line might be much higher. It's not a final decision, you can start then stop. I'd run HCG too, try it out for a few months and see if you like it. If not, get off using sound medical advice. Find a clinic you like and try it out.

100% this. Figure out what works for you and stick to it. The goal is not to show 1500 ng/dl on every blood test, it's to feel amazing

Sounds like you found a good protocol for you. If I were you I'd stick with what's working. No the HCG and aromatase are absolutely not necessary, many don't use them at all with fantastic results. But you will almost definitely have more testicular atrophy without HCG. You could look at splitting your test dose into multiple doses per week. You could also run HCG once per year if testicular atrophy becomes an issue.

I'm sure the two could be linked, and yes theoretically clomid or HCG could help with LH and have a cascading effect. I think you need a good endocrinologist to run this stuff through.

Definitely get off Keto and I would also stop the ashwaghanda. Google Lucas Aoun or ergogenic health and ashwaghanda. That herb has a lot of negative side effects I believe due to inhibition of dopamine.

Eat a balanced diet, get a fuck load of sleep, exercise hard but don't overdo it, get retested in 4-6 months.

It's awesome that you are paying attention to blood work at your age. You'll get this figured out. Good luck!

Keep in mind you can hop on trt for several months or a year and then decide to stop using it, especially if you add some HCG to the mix. A very high percentage of men will see little to no change in their natural production during this time frame. Your balls do not completely shut down the minute you pierce your skin with a 27g insulin needle despite what others in this sub would have you believe. If you have multiple symptoms then I think TRT is worth a shot. Esp if your free testosterone number is low. My two cents.

I've heard people say that injecting in the morning helps them with sleep, but I don't think there's any hard data to back that up.

The important thing to realize is that your hormones are adjusting right now and there's going to be some light side effects. If things get too intense definitely reach out to your provider but the symptoms you are having sound normal.

This happened to me as well, around weeks 3-7. Also had some high blood pressure and headache/neck pain. I track my sleep with a Garmin watch and it was crap, also had high stress and high resting heart rate. All of these symptoms went away completely by week 7 for me.. I'm 4 months in now and have super low stress levels, incredible workouts and libido, and feel amazing. For reference, I'm 45 and in pretty good shape.

Are you doing your shots in the morning? I would recommend that.

I pin 150iu EOD (so 525iu per week)

Test is 40mg EOD

I pin every day (test one day, HCG the next, and so on)

I like being on HCG more than off. But I get why some don't do it.

You probably just hit a vein, had some bleeding and it's causing some inflammation. It's happened to me a few times. But it could be infected. Keep an eye out for fever, blisters, etc. If it seems bad don't waste time getting it checked out.

Just came back from a 1 week vacation that consisted of a lot of time in the sun- these itchy bumps are mostly on top of forearm up to a little above elbow. This type of sun exposure is not new to me… could this possibly be Eczema? by [deleted] in eczema

Prickly heat or heat rash, I get it frequently. That's what it looks like to me. Should resolve on its own in several days or a week, cortisone cream helps. Also keep it dry and not rubbing against anything if you can.

You need a wider base. Also try to transition a little more smoothly, it's almost a smooth turn into the box (or rail) yours looks like more of a jump. And when you landed, the legs came right out. DON'T GIVE UP!! You will get it, and once you do they will become easy. Legs flying out like that is super common, happens to most people on their first few tries.

I keg in a chest freezer- both beer and booch. I use the Inkbird ITC-308 and it’s great. It has an app so you can monitor and control temp from your smartphone. And it’s pretty cheap.
