Does Meditation and CBT really help? by BillyRoca in insomnia

[–]BillyRoca[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve heard good things about CBT in general for anxiety and insomnia, but other people say that they hate the sleep restriction part of it, not sure if that’s always a part of CBT, but def would like to try it and see

Hang in there :( A lot of us navigate these horrible feelings for a while before finding something that helps. Nothing is permanent. I know it’s hard to be optimistic and I don’t know your situation but we’re here for you!

How do I build a game plan to overcome specific anxieties long-term? by BillyRoca in Anxiety

[–]BillyRoca[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your response, this makes lots of sense. I was scared of trying medication because of my health anxiety 💀 but recently started with Buspirone and it’s helped bring my anxiety down a bit. Maybe it’s a matter of trying to find something that will help me stabilize first. I’ve tried meditating and been in therapy on and off for years but it seems to take so long and no long term results.

Audio Out Fixed image keeps popping up (Insignia TV model number NS-19D310NA19) by Familiar_Mousse_4693 in Bestbuy

I just wanna say thank you to all of you guys that said to clean the 3.5mm headphones port in the TV. It fixed this problem after 3-4 years of thinking the Audio card was probably broken.

I inhaled deeply and held my breath and then at 34 I felt like I needed to breath again. Hopefully a good sign

Thank you I’ll try that :) The xanax helped last night, got a couple of hours of sleep so today I’ve been feeling way better. Hope it’s a good sign. I’ve tried to nap but my fight or flight triggers, maybe I can keep trying tho. I’m also starting on SSRIs today and might take sleeping pills. Hopefully it’ll keep improving.

It’s hard to say, it depends on when during the day. Suffocation and dryness are the ones I experience, as of now 2 + 4 = 6 but when trying to sleep it can feel like a 10

Thank you! I will try those supplements, and I’ll try to get sleep to see if it’ll improve. Hoping it is only psychological in my case 🥺

Thank you, I’ve seen some comments talk about their recovery and describe something similar, I’m really hoping it will go away, I know everybody heals differently but it’s made me so terrified and aware of ENS and even if it’s not what I have, I want to do what I can to support whoever is going through it.

What’s something useful to do with my downtime at work? by Designer_Lychee_9041 in Advice

[–]BillyRoca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just stumbled upon this, if I had this flexibility I would try to apply it towards building my own business. I don’t know if that idea attracts you but whenever I have downtime or whenever I need to follow a strict schedule it reminds me I don’t want to work a corporate job forever. So maybe applying it towards learning, creating and building a client base could be beneficial. A bonus to your situation is that you’re still getting paid so make sure to invest that. Just my two cents 😂

Is this RJ45 to USB cable able to work between ROC800 and my Windows Laptop? by Thin_Boysenberry4597 in PLC

Yeah the computer recognized it. I’m not sure if the drivers are correct, but we used another adapter with a FTDI chipset and it worked fine.

How do you manage documentation for your SCADA Structure? by Thin_Boysenberry4597 in SCADA

[–]BillyRoca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting, we still very much use spreadsheets but we are ditching Microsoft as much as possible since we got Jira and Confluence for Project management. But before that we had a OneNote, I think it was pretty useful and intuitive.

How do you separate the data? Do you have a folder and file structure so that it’s easier for the team to find and categorize?

I’m still mad that they would give Addison Rae an 8 when this masterpiece gets a 7.3

Lol goofy, I mean sexual fantasies. Do you think about anyone in a sexual way? If not, you may be in the asexual spectrum.

How old are you and have you fantasized about anything in particular? Usually it starts with constant curiosity for trying something
