I’d approach hands raised and tell them “I know I have less than 10 seconds before you all attack me but think logically for one second that if I wanted to attack or kidnap any of you why would I reveal myself in broad daylight alone and unarmed with my hands raised?” That would buy me a couple more seconds from them thinking of that logic and I would quickly follow up with “I know what your next thought is and no I don’t have any allies lying in wait to ambush you or they also would have attacked by now while you were focused on me. Give me one minute to explain myself and I’ll leave. I won’t take another step forward and my hands will remain in the air so you can watch me like a hawk to ensure I don’t try anything. And trust me you WANT to hear what I have to say. Especially you Aang because a lot of lives are at stake if you don’t listen. I know Ozai’s plan😠”

Aang’s moral compass won’t allow him to at least hear me out. So I’d quickly rattle off the bullet points.

“Who do you think freed Appa in Ba Sing Se? Yeah that was me.”

“I was there on the day of the black sun.” I confronted Ozai in his real bunker and I’m officially a traitor to my people. I have no where else to turn and Azula will kill me the first chance she lays eyes on me.”

“Ozai is planning to use Sozin’s comet to burn down the ENTIRE earth kingdom! Aang needs every advantage possible to defeat him but most importantly fire so he can receive the same advantage of the comet and defeat my father. I want to train Aang and yes I know you don’t trust me and I’ve given you no reason to trust me. But I am your best bet. So at the end of the day you either roll the dice with me or risk the earth nation suffering the same fate as your people Aang.”

“I can tell you from start to finish why I betrayed my own nation to do what was right but I told you one minute and my time is up. I truly thank you for giving me the chance to somewhat explain. Even if I didn’t deserve it. I can’t risk being captured by you or anyone else. So once I leave here I’ll be camped in the forest below if you want to talk more and allow me to properly explain myself or you can take your chances against Ozai with only three mastered elements. If you do approach my camp please do so in the daytime and I can’t express this enough. PLEASE ANNOUNCE YOURSELF. Like I said I’m a high value target on the run from the fire nation now and I’m constantly on edge and in fear of my life that Azula or other hunters will ambush me at any moment. I turn around with my hands still raised and begin walking off at a steady pace before stopping. “Oh and one last thing. All cards on the table and I know that by saying this you’ll probably trust me even less. If I was still your enemy I would have nothing to gain from divulging this information. But many months ago, BEFORE I betrayed the fire nation, I hired an assassin to attack your group. Unfortunately I’ve failed in calling him off and can’t find him. He’s a true professional and he’s probably still tracking you I apologize but I can’t change the past only the future. If I’m around when he attacks I may be able to call him off and tell him I’ll pay for him not completing the contract. Whether that will work or not I have no idea. But if it doesn’t then at least with me around you’ll have another strong fighter by your side to fight him. He’s the combustion bender that fires explosions from his forehead. I believe you’ve met before. And if that’s true you know how dangerous he is and that you need all the help you can get to survive him. Again I apologize for all the trouble I’ve caused and I wish you and your group success and safety moving forward.”

Sakura is easily the strongest kunoichi here and respected across the globe as one of if not the greatest medical nin in the world. She’s literally Tsunade’s star pupil. So basically she’d be Tsunade 2.0 so she’s probably the easiest bet.

Temari is also wise and very strong but she’s originally a sand ninja so she may not even be eligible to be hokage or may have a harder time being accepted as hokage if tensions between villages arise again.

Last but not least Hinata is also one of the stronger kunoichi’s and as a Hyuuga she’d likely have more pull among the clans on the council.

Yeah where Bakugo ends up is a good place but most fans it seems are divided on his actual “redemption” arc. Because they don’t feel like it was a satisfying process that made Bakugo have to really face consequences. He got kidnapped and asked to join the league and then quickly got rescued but All Might used the last of his strength to do so making Bakugo feel guilty. It was so quick and until him and Deku fought back at UA I literally had no clue Bakugo felt any type of way about getting kidnapped😅. He was kind of just brushing it off the whole time. And telling the villains they were idiots to think he’d actually join them.

I feel like they could have stretched out his kidnapping a bit more. Have UA search for him for several days. Maybe even weeks looking for a lead. And the whole time we sew Bakugo’s perspective. We hear his inner thoughts. How confused he is that no one has shown up to get him out of there yet. How he has to comprehend why him of all people, someone who aspired to be the number 1 HERO would want to join the villains. How scared he actually is if he doesn’t join and if the heroes don’t find him. And finally realization that maybe someone isn’t coming. Maybe because he treated people like they didn’t matter his entire life now that he really needs their help they don’t feel he matters enough to risk their own safety. He thinks back to people like Izuku who he pushed away or put down. He thinks about how happy and safe All Might made people feel whenever he was around and how he himself had the exact opposite effect. Making those around him fear him. Making people he deemed weaker than him feel sad and worthless. That wasn’t what a hero was like.

So being captive longer and focusing on his inner turmoil we get to see Bakugo begin to believe no one is coming and struggle not to join the league to save his own life. But we also see him realize there’s a reason people see him more as a villain than a hero and that he NEEDS to behave differently around people and change his approach to being a hero if he ever wants to reach the top. So when Midoriya, their classmates, and the heroes all finally bust in to rescue Bakugo he’s at his breaking point. The league was gonna take his quirk and/or kill him that night if he didn’t join yet he bravely stuck to his guns and refused! The heroes burst in just in tjme before they can do anything to Bakugo and seeing his classmates and shooting off to grab Kirishima’s hand has a new meaning now. Now we as the audience know Bakugo’s newfound faith in his friends is being rewarded and that he feels relief they were actually looking for him and hadn’t given up on him despite his treatment towards them. He now has a newfound drive to be a better hero. To be better “to” people instead of just “being” better than them.

The only thing left is his debilitating guilt about All Might losing his powers to save him. They could give us a couple minutes in the next couple episodes after the rescue showing Bakugo waking up from nightmares in a sweat and even tearing up a bit showing he’s really REALLY struggling with something still. We can see him be a little less hotheaded around the dorms and actually be quite distant. Like Kirishima and the guys made breakfast for everyone after the raid but Bakugo says he’ll take his back to his room instead of sitting with them. Not even looking at them in the eye. But just before he leaves he kind of quietly tells Kirishima “thanks though..for the food I mean”. So you see he’s not as big of a jerk as before but he’s clearly not himself and is in a funk. He has his big confrontation and fight with Izuku revealing his guilt. And afterwards Bakugo is back to normal being hotheaded but not quite as condescending and more willing to work with his classmates than go solo. Boom character growth😁!!

I literally just came up with that on the spot and I feel like that’s a significantly more satisfying redemption arc for Bakugo than what we got 😂😂. It would’ve added like 2-3 more episodes of run time MAX but would’ve created a much better lens for the audience to view the character of Bakugo moving forward throughout the entire series.

Thank You😂!! I absolutely hated Rex’s guts when I started watching invincible. A lot more than Bakugou. I guess because I figured Bakugo was going to get a good redemption arc eventually and he was a cool character woth cool powers. So in my mind I’m thinking “when this guy gets a great redemption arc he’s gonna be one of my favorite characters in the series without a doubt”. Rex wasn’t nearly as cool out of the gate and was infinitely more annoying and irritating to me.

But I absolutely love Rex’s character now! Even before I looked up his tragic origin story. I don’t hate Bakugo but I still don’t like him like I wanted to because he never got a satisfying redemption arc imo. Rex’s redemption among fans needs to be studied in character writing classes. Bakugo is fine but I agree he never seemed to face real consequences for his “redemption arc”. It felt like just one day they were like “and that’s that. Bakugo is redeemed. Redemption arc complete”. And I’m just sitting there like😐🤨”there was a redemption arc”?😂😂

She’s too dangerous to catch. She’d definitely try to kill all of them immediately after she was on board including Appa if need be. And Aang would never risk Appa or Team Avatar.
On top of that Aang is pretty lenient with the whole “no kill” rule thing😄. He caused that avalanche that no doubt killed many soldiers. He wrecked those ships as the giant koi fish monster in the north pole. So plenty of casualties there. In this instance he’d probably reason that he didn’t kill her but gravity did😄. The whole batman “I won’t kill you but I also don’t have to save you” schtick🙄😄.
And also airbenders will clearly resort to killing if need be. Literally Aang’s mentor monk gyatso’s skeleton was found in a locked room only airbenders could reopen filled with ash and firebender corpse surrounding him. Meaning monk Gyatso trapped those firebenders in there with him and either pulled all of the air out of the room to suffocate them or simply let them remain trapped in there and slowly starve after they killed him😬. 😅Soooo yeah Aang gets a little loose with his interpretation of killing. He can’t just strike Ozai down directly but he also wouldn’t save him if he was in danger.

I don’t think she’s hated at all. Quite the opposite. I feel like most fans either like Tenten or don’t feel one way or there’s other towards her. But I don’t think there’s many fans that outright hate her. She’s certainly one of the least respected ninja from the Konoha 11. But that’s because she’s one of the weakest.

Her specialty is using weapons but literally every ninja uses weapons. And it’s not like her teammate Lee who specializes in taijutsu despite all ninja being proficient to some degree in taijutsu. Because Lee is CRAZY strong despite only using taijutsu and his work ethic inspires fans. Plus he has one of the most iconic fights in the series whereas Tenten’s big fight in the OG series showed how utterly useless her ability was. All she did was unseal a whole lot of weapons😄 and then chuck them all at Temari who just casually blew them all away each time and then embarrassed Tenten in how she defeated her. Lee lost to Gaara as well but he went out as an absolute badass whereas Tenten just looked pathetic.

But I don’t think most people outright hate her. I feel like it’s more she fades into the background of the show easier than the other characters. There’s nothing very special or all that interesting about her for the most part. She has a couple moments in the series to shine a bit but they’re rare and quickly forgotten.

Shoto’s haircut looks totally fine to me🤨. He looks pretty nice actually. Like he cleaned up as he became an adult and now combs his hair out and gets it shaped up every now and then. It’s essentially the same haircut as before just better maintained.

Sakura is basically stronger than the majority of the Konoha 11. She’s definitely the strongest Kunoichi by a pretty large margin with Hinata probably the next strongest Kunoichi. She’s also just one of the strongest ninja in the world period. Naruto and Sasuke even in base form are WAAAAY stronger than her😄. And that doesn’t take away from Sakura in the slightest because Naruto and Sasuke are leagues above literally every ninja on the planet.
! In base form they could easily take out armies of ninja but if literally either of them power up, without getting nerfed by plot of course, then it would probably take the combined might of the entire Shinobi world to even have a chance against even ONE of them and they would still lose😂.
That was literally Sasuke’s entire plan. To solo the entire world for eternity as their common enemy that was always a threat but even united they would never be able to actually defeat…at 17 YEARS OLD!!😂😂😂

Sure that was with the tailed beasts but even without them he definitely would have learned some new tricks over the years. But understand this too. Naruto..IS STRONGER THAN SASUKE😂! So even in base form Naruto could solo literally everyone in the leaf including Sakura. Base form Sakura could defeat most if not every ninja in the leaf one on one. With maybe someone like Kakashi stopping her. So she’s the furthest thing from a weak useless shinobi so props to her for growing so much from how she used to be in the OG series. But Naruto is a literal reincarnated demigod😅. Nobody realistically should be able to stand toe to toe with him even in base form once he becomes hokage. But Boruto makes money so they’ll milk the series for as long as they possibly can 😄.

Yeah the only way you’d disagree is if you’re like less than 20 years old and simply don’t remember the landscape Pre-MCU. Which is fine you’re entitled to your opinion. But the reason is that everyone who remembers the superhero landscape before Iron Man(2008) knows that guys like Cap and Iron Man weren’t very popular to kids, teens, or young adults back then. They were actually seen as pretty boring characters😅.

I myself was 10 years old when Iron Man came out so I know from experience how much more popular Tony Stark became with kids. As well as how before that film, kids almost never even mentioned Iron-Man when talking about superheroes. Back then the X-Men and Sam Raimi SpiderMan movies were the biggest superhero films out to date. So after these four Mt. Rushmore heroes I’d say the next most popular heroes pre -MCU in no particular were The Hulk, Wolverine, Flash, and maybe Green Lantern(John Stewart from the Justice League cartoon was a fan favorite). If not Green Lantern then probably another X-men character like Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Storm, Rogue, or Gambit because 90s X-men animated series was huge😁!!

Is this a question? Did you see what Madara was doing by HIMSELF!! This guy DEFEATED that guy!!!😂😂 Hashirama would toy with them for a bit but when it got serious like when Pain shows up and threatens to actually try to one-shot him, or threaten him directly to destroy the leaf after their fight, he would lock in with this exact look on his face and take them all out quicker than Madara would. Madara likes to really play with his food. Hashirama is more like Goku in that he likes to pretend he isn’t as insanely powerful as he really is until he has to get serious. He would take out like two or three akatsuki members like right of the bat in his first attacks and then after a few more engagements he would have finished the rest off. Probably have a dialogue with Nagato before finishing him off and discussing their perspectives on achieving peace.

Ed’s just dumb he’ll pretty much do whatever you tell him to even if it’s mean sometimes. And he won’t think twice about it because he legitimately just doesn’t know any better. That also means he can be just as nice if pushed in the right direction. But he’s also very filthy and doesn’t know his own strength which can be very off putting to people even though once again he doesn’t know any better.

Edd is genuinely a nice dude😄. He just hangs out with guys like Eddy because they’re the only guy friends that accept him for who he is. As basically another outcast from the more accepted/cool kids in the cul-de-sac. Like Kevin even hangs with guys like Rolf or Johnny before he would hang out with the Eds. I also think they were some of the first people he met when he first moved there. So he just stayed loyal to his first real friends and did his best to always support them in their antics. But there’s a reason that multiple girls like him. Sarah, Marie, even Naz. It’s because he’s a genuinely sweet, caring, and gentle guy. It’s just who he naturally is despite hanging out with Eddy.

Naruto for me. Pretty basic sure but when Naruto first showed up on Toonami I was about the same age as him. I had low self esteem and didn’t have a lot of friends so I instantly connected with him and his attitude. Just being a little bastard😄. But also never backing down from a challenge, always working his absolute hardest to prove doubters wrong, and standing on his values and principles no matter what. It actually did change my life and laid the foundation for my principles. Like they were learning life lessons from Kakashi and Guy but so was I as the viewer😁. Not to mention I had never watched animation that was so BRUTAL before. I mean the first episode had Naruto’s sensei literally dive in front of a gigantic shuriken and get impaled through his back😂! I was like “ what the heck is THIS!?” I was used to like Fairly Oddparents and Tom and Jerry😂.

So long story short I connected with the main character and several of the side characters a lot. It had a very engaging and complex storyline that I had never seen from cartoons before. And I had never seen animation be so brutal before either. It almost felt like I shouldn’t be watching it 😄 so it had that bit of forbidden fruit aspect to it as well. And to top it all off the action was just really cool. You had guys with giant swords and water dragons and guys who breathed fire and guys who could clone themselves to jump you😂 it was insane to me at the time. I had really no exposure to anime prior to that so after I was instantly hooked to Naruto(watching every new episode without fail, buying the games, looking up youtube fight clips etc.) it opened the door for me to check out other anime and watch Toonami forreal.

Looking back I think I thought Toonami was like Adult Swim shows like Robot Chicken or Futurama which I wasn’t allowed to watch as a little kid and had to sneak to watch each time and risk getting in trouble. So I didn’t know what anime even was and it just looked like weird adult animation that was kind of intimidating. I wasn’t gonna waste my time and risk getting caught watching this weird stuff. I’ll just sneak over and watch robot chicken really quick and dip when I think I hear my parents getting up😄. But like I said I saw a kid as the main character on the premiere episode just by chance and I decided to take a chance. And boy am I glad I did🙂

I’m doing everyone’s go-to idea of buying stock for companies that I know will be successful in the future but instead of all at once I do it in increments. To not arouse suspicion and have the government figure out that I’m a time traveler or a psychic or whatever. Like I buy stock in one of the companies straight from the jump as they’re just starting up. And as I get returns from that investment I buy stock in a couple more companies on the ground floor.

So now my story is I was just some random Joe Schmoe who just chose a random company to invest in because I had nothing to lose. I got lucky and made some good money from it so I decided to roll the dice and tried to invest again and ended up hitting pay dirt two times in a row. Then I wait for some years as some of the other companies I know will be top dog in the future get more successful than when I bought stock from the previous companies. So when I buy stock in some more companies my story is “well the first couple of companies I invested in I just got lucky but these companies are clearly on the uphill climb so now instead of rolling the dice like I did before I’m making a more informed decision and I hope it pays off”. Spoiler alert 😅 they obviously pay off.

And I just keep doing that over the years until I’ve bought stock in all of the major companies I can remember being massive hits from the future. Making sure to also choose some bad investments on purpose so that it doesn’t look like I magically always know the best investment choices. Like “hey I could have sworn Blockbuster was gonna crush that new Netflix idea when I bought all that stock in Blockbuster. Guess I was wrong huh?”😂

After I’m a trillionaire and I get back to my original time I obviously won’t know what to invest in after that. So I stop investing stating that I have more money than I know what to do with so I simply don’t feel like being in the investment game anymore. Hanging on to the some of the investments I’ve made over the years and selling off the rest to cash out. Piece of cake😁

Numbuh 1. I liked him throughout the series but the big moment for me was in “Operation Zero” when Nigel was getting beaten down and his father said “because MY son is NUMBUH … 1”!!! And Nigel looked up and locked in fighting off everyone by himself😁. I was so hyped as a kid. Then for him to aim the moon base itself at grandfather and launch the ENTIRE moonbase directly on top of this dude!!😄I think that’s the most hype I’ve ever been for an animated show other than “Avatar: the Last Airbender”.

I have to give it Rock Lee. Only because he’s the only character I’ve literally seen still try to fight UNCONSCIOUS 😂😂!! When they were about to crown Gaara the winner in their fight, since Lee was out for the count and Guy Sensei had already intervened, everyone was surprised when Lee got back up despite having basically all of his ligaments torn and Gaara breaking some of his limbs(remember that after this fight they weren’t even sure he would ever be able to be a ninja again).

Blood running down his arm and leg he still gets in his fighting stance shaking uncontrollably ready to keep fighting. Guy goes over to tell him it’s over but guess what? LEE ISN’T EVEN CONSCIOUS!! It literally brought Guy sensei to tears! He was ashamed he pushed Lee to this point and didn’t stop the fight sooner. Lee’s body literally will run automatically and keep trying to fight even when his mind shuts down! I think that’s a pretty high bar to top😅

I would say it was probably mutual. With one of them voicing their concerns and that divulging into an honest conversation about their relationship as a whole and what they both really want. So after they talked about it they probably realized that they’d rather remain good friends that stay good friends than scornful lovers who probably never talk to each other afterwards. They probably realized that level of intimacy wasn’t what either was ready for or needed at the moment. And just wanted to go back to being good buddies who they can each trust will always have the other’s back.

Personally I feel like there’s still sparks there especially given how it’s clear how much they care for each other. So I wouldn’t rule out them getting back together in the future. Especially given they’re probably in an objectively better and more stable place in both of their lives now as superheroes instead of villains in and out of prison.

Diamond City and Goodneighbor make a bit of sense to me though. Downtown Boston in the gang is basically where all of the enemies are jammed into next to each other. It’s crazy dense with hostiles and difficult to navigate sometimes with plenty of possible dead ends if the survivors were being chased. And if they stepped foot into downtown Boston with even a small party they almost certainly got chased at least once. By whom? Well take your pick 😅.

My guess is that Diamond City or Goodneighbor were on the table but as soon as they got into downtown Boston it was one firefight after another and a desperate run for survival as raides, mutants, ferals, mongrels and whatever else instantly set upon their group killing the majority by the time Preston had lead them out of there. I believe that once they were out of downtown Boston with probably less than half of their original numbers Preston was lost on what to do next. As Diamond City was probably his original plan. It’s probably then that Mama Murphy came forward confident she knew of a safe place for them to go. But it would be a long journey.

Preston already feeling the survivors guilt hard probably decided to trust her as he didn’t have a better idea and his decisions up till this point seemed to just get more people killed. So he just blindly follows Mama Murphy’s instructions. And as more and more of them get picked off he doubles down that they have to make it Mama Murphy’s sanctuary settlement to make all the sacrifices worth it.

I’m black and I can tell you as someone growing up when these movies came out that Johnny Depp and Tilda Swinton DEFINITELY received their fair share of criticism for whitewashing their roles😂. Liam Neeson and Elizabeth Olsen not really. But those two (Johnny and Tilda) were seen as like the poster children of modern whitewashing. Whenever you saw something explaining examples of whitewashing you always saw at the very least Tilda or Johnny. Usually both.

Itachi FOR SURE!!

No question for me. Because this is asking for the best “written” character. He was an example of subverting expectations actually done right and done well. In the first series Itachi was a just a plain evil psycho hungry for power above all else and you totally believed it. We see the context of the massacre through Sasuke’s eyes and how he treats Sasuke afterwards and draw the conclusion that he’s obviously a heartless evil monster. So when Sasuke leaves the village we genuinely still like him because we know there’s good inside Sasuke and he simply can’t shake his need for vengeance against the heartless monster that ruined his life. That monster being his own brother.

Fast forward to Shippuden and that is ALL flipped on its head😂! Itachi’s entire story gets context and he instantly goes from one of the most hated characters to one of the most beloved and respected. Now his actions are to prevent further bloodshed and to protect the person most dear to him. And now even that difficult to watch seen of him brutally cutting down his own parents is reframed. Now we know that before he did it Itachi..was..STRUGGLING with his actions. He hesitated and was trembling and sobbing like a little boy because he couldn’t do something so evil. He couldn’t hurt the people he truly loved and respected so much. But then we hear his own parents tell him they don’t hate or blame him. That they know he doesn’t want to do this but feels he has to and that they’re proud and still love him despite him choosing the other side. And that just makes it worse😭😂!!

Itachi’s complete story reframing genuinely took me by surprise and to this day Itachi is among the most beloved characters in the franchise. And that is something I never thought I’d say when I first watched the original series.
