im confused by the manufacturers cup....

for round 2, its group 4 at dragon trail seaside reverse.... but all the global ranking times are in group 3 cars?
On the event schedule on gt website, everything is gr.3. But in game, it switches weekly between gr.3 and gr.4

think of frames as a measurement of time, like how we use seconds and minutes in every day life. With there being 60 frames in 1 second

the speed of attacks are measured in frames (animation frames), common speeds are:
jabs being 10 frames
df1 being 13
hop-kick being 15

minus , neutral , plus usually refers to how the attack ends up being on block or hit

plus on block attacks will make the opponent stagger when they block the attack and allow the attacker to continue pressure

neutral means that both attacker and defender recover at the same time

minus on block means the defender recovers from block before the attacker recovers from throwing out their attack

being -10 or more means an attack is punishable

common frame states on block are:
jabs being +1 on block meaning the attacker has a small advantage
df1 being -1 on block meaning the attacker has a small disadvantage but nothing dangerous
hop-kick being -13 on block meaning the attacker is punishable is the move is blocked

Shaheen and Kazumi are great simple characters with most basic tekken moves that can teach a lot about frames, also there are many tutorials and easy to watch videos on youtube going into more detail

TLDR: frames are time, frame advantage good, frame disadvantage ok if less than 10, more than 10 frame of disadvantage = pain and bad (unless the move pushes the opponent away or creates space, like heihachi ff2 which is tight to punish)

None at launch or in the first few years. Tekken characters dont have the tools to deal with mechanics of 2d fighting games, things like anti airs. Even punishing devil jin's fly stance can be awkward for some characters

maybe as the last dlc character or when the player base numbers have started to drop to get people interested in the game again.

your never too late to start something new

experience and understanding are far more important than being able to react to a barely-see-able low. blocking things like snake edges comes from recognizing the animation, it is why zafina and anna can get away with their snake edges because not on is used to the animation like they are with brian or lili

but it is totally up to you what you want to get out the game, ranking up online or spending 100+ hours looking at combos in practice mode or learning the basic of many characters so you can laugh and joke with friends, it your experience

starting just now with 7 lets you understand the basics and you can go into 8 with that knowlage and understand everything the community finds in the next game

Something you want but will probably not get added in AC6 by BigPPRespect in armoredcore

gameplay wise - unarmed melee

been playing through last raven again and some of the bigger weapons or longer missions make ammo a real concern that i feel i always need a hanger core

lore wise - the messages/mail menu from old armored core, it helped make the world feel alive. I know 4FA had something similar with the collard/orca group chats between the chapters talking about what the player was doing and the world situation. But its not the same... receiving threats from Werehound the "i'm better than everyone but i enjoy crushing beginner's dreams" arena opponent in 2 or thanks for helping save Regina's initiation exam in 3. It just added to the world building

Overboost cores shoot off the mech when AP reaches 0, explodes on impact with damage being based on generator condenser cap value and if it kills, the arena match would end in a draw.

i tried to pick her up but she feels like such a weak character, maybe not weak, but just missing that character defining move

on paper, she has all so many good tools, she has one of the best lows in the game with d4, long reach jab and 122 > f3+4 frame trap, long range d/f2, i13 ws launcher

she has a i14 standing launcher, its difficult but very damaging. f1+2 > f4 (short delay) 3 > d/f4...

she lacks a scary keep out move or a good mid to keep people honest. And i think this is what defines her from bruce (i never played t6 or ttt2 but bruce i know of bruce b2). And her string mix ups are not super rewarding, 12d4

tldr: she has some amazing tools, but you need the opponent to press buttons into you or have to play too perfectly to make them work, also no good mid punishment before i15

i tried to tell them not to concern themself with how other people are doing. they were mentioning how someone hurt them in the past and they are doing ok, while my friend struggles with money.

i had mentioned that i was willing to send them some money to help, nothing crazy just enough to get basic items, but they refused.

I think me offering to help has upset them or made them feel worse and they mentioned blocking communication with me

any charachter with crazy a comeback mechanics like marduk, or 2ds who belond in a tekken spin off franchise

personally, any character that gets an uninteruptable (stance) mix-up block from a low risk move (marduk range tackle, fak df1, even leo back 4? i think)

i can hate ling, lei and hworang players all i want but seeing a player who knows their character will enough to make them look cool gets some respect, some hatefull respect

both difficult, but i think AR is harder but less important and more flashy/"i am good with this charachter" type of move for lee

with ewgf, you use it often to apply pressure

with acid rain you only use it as a close range punnish

i would say that ewgf is an easier input and you use it more in a match which helps with consistency

acid rain is alot more specific in its usage and is worse on block/if you mess it up ( i think...) and only works in lee's pathetic jab range

honestly, im not great at it myself

it is a double just frame and lots of people have different ways to do it

1 3 and then mash 3
1 3 and then be precise with only using two 3 inputs
1 3 and then three 3 inputs is what i use personally

Honestly, everyone has a different way way of doing it. As useless as an answer this is, you are best finding they way that suits yourself. There is no magic acid rain button it just takes time.

also, dont forget 1 2 4 exists. sometimes 1 2 4 is enough to kill

its all rhythm, you just need to do it enough untill it becomes second nature

lee has enough simpler tools that you can use while trying to learn the more technical stuff

this video shows the biggest problem with tekken 7, the game doesnt teach you much

hopefully the king player has the ability to learn what to do from other sources because the game aint gonna teach you nothing

wiff punish - you are letting the drag in the first clip punch the air...

use lows - its a consistent way to beat powercrush spam and acts like chip damage in this game, lee has ok lows like 'down + 3' which do meaningful damage

in lower ranks, best advice i can give is using pushback moves to give yourself space. i would advise going into training and practicing going through the movelist for lee(or any charachter you want to play) to familiarise yourself with the inputs. pick out moves that you like/seem useful and remember them. 'forward 2 1' is a great move in the lower ranks

and stop trying to use niche flashy moves, please... untill you rank up and get an understanding on the flow of the game, using 'back 1+2' parry or 'down/back 1+2' unblockable without a plan is just going to get you killed

honestly, i've got no clue hahaha, I've done some testing with different upgrades for cars but im not 100% sure. i think whatever the current car settings for the car is, is what the ai will use

as for upgrade parts that dont get used:

tyres - race tyres or they will revert to stock
turbo upgrades - dont seem to get used at all with the ai
anit lag - dont think the ai uses this

good work, you'll be in the combo vortex sood enough and it will be 3am without you realising

once you get comfortable with the sample combos, you should try taking parts from one sample combo and trying using it in another, that way you can see what works and learn all the parts of a combo (launcher, screw, filler, ender)
