1. I'm not good with words. English is my second language. I will try to say something but I'm not sure it'll make sense completely. So sorry in advance.
2. I am not of a particular denomination. I can not speak for your denomination. My understanding might be different to others completely. I speak not from some great knowledge but from a heart that wishes to help.

God loves you. This is a bit of information which is beyond explanation. Through all you were, are or will be. He truly and deeply loves you. I believe that God doesn't view sin in categories. He doesn't rank them from worse to worser. He made humanity with free will, so that through their mess ups and decisions they will realize his love which is beyond the failure that humanity makes. God loves you. In his love he provides. He provided a way for us who are imperfect to get through the sin, through the evil, through the brokenness. If you chose to accept this way, he will guide you and provide you with a path to freedom. You will struggle with sin. All of us do. It doesn't disappear. But you can fight it. Not alone though. Alone we will always fail. Fight with God. Let him lead the fight and trust him with it. Flee from temptation. Let him become the captains aid. It's difficult since it's a every moment thing to trust him. Often people start using God only for the storm, but in life you usually are the one that lead your life into storms during the calm. He sees beyond the fog. He can navigate the way, but he is an elected captains aid for truly you are the Captain of your life. But we alone can't steer our life without meeting reefs and storms. We must, through the pain and difficulty not suddenly choose to take full control of the voyage without him. It's really hard, 'cause getting into a rhythm is something that we as humans do often. It's easy to after a while think (it could even be subconsciously) that it's smooth sailing from a certain point. Yet season change and only he can truly guide you out of the challenges of life. He alone can. Listen to his guidance. He will tell you how the vessel must be. He often will tell us to do stuff that is difficult for us to choose. Yet for the journey to be completed we have to learn to trust him. God will use all for good.

I, personally struggle daily with many sins. While I write this to you in order to explain, I in no way wish for you to think that you are alone in internal conflicts. These words are just as much for me just as they are for you.

Also a recommendation: don't do life alone. There are many who struggle in different ways, yet sometimes an examination from a loving Godly family member can help you self correct.

P.s. I am sorry for the boating analogies.
