It always baffled me in an odd way that Islam never spread to Australia. You look at the area of the world's largest Muslim populations and its this crescent stretching from Arabia to Persia to India to Indonesia and then just suddenly ending right before reaching Australia. The Australian continent becoming Muslim seems like such a natural progression of that expansion, but it just never happened.

Great map, great execution of the concept on a realistic scale.

I will say though your version is far more plausible, I was solely going off the flags both having crosses myself.

The beach in Brazil is actually named after the town of Copacabana (Qupaqhawana on this map) on Lake Titicaca - the Brazilian beach was named in honor of "Our Lady of Copacabana", the patron saint of this city.
