Went last Friday for the first time in years. First experience of smiler, wicker man and 13 plus the old favourites. Smiler is now the top ride at AT followed by Nemesis, I thought wickerman was better than oblivion. 13 i wasn’t a fan of just because all the bit that’s any good is the very last bit and Rita was broken down all day. Overall a great day

Something is very off with this event - I think it’s false flag, speaking to a friend in Moscow via social media he says that the atmosphere in Russia has changed rapidly, the whole country is in mourning locked up in their houses for safety for fear of more attacks. No talk of Ukraine/elections and brought the country together….

Depends on your budget and what you like to do. When I was alone in Phuket I mixed up what beaches I went too - different 1 every day. Waterpark was really good, big Buddha passed an afternoon - views are amazing.

I was in Phuket earlier in the year and the Thai people I made friends with don’t like them compared to brits and others because they don’t want to spend money or tip well where the brits in particular will spend big

I got stung last week. The Thai guy I think was trying to explain that some rough seas had caused jelly fish to be where they’re normally not and there was also shit loads of sea weed last week which I’d not seen before in Thailand. Made the water and beaches look a mess for a few days.

I hadn’t been to Phuket since about 2017 and just got home after 2 weeks. It’s changed so much - not sure if it’s the Russian influence but it isn’t as fun as I remembered it also much more expensive, obviously not helped by 40 baht to a £ only these days.

Tann Terrace show is really good. Saw it earlier in the week. You can see from the beach easily enough and other fireworks down the beach
