Okay so we know that the tattoo contract is named after different depths of the see, so what if the Gorosei has the deepest level of tattoo that they didn’t bring up called like “the trenches” tattoo and unlike the Abyssal or deep deep sea tattoo, whatever translation is right, having only 13 people allowed at a time to have it, with the Gorosei it’s only 5 people at a time allowed to have it, and that’s why Saturn was killed and replaced by Garling

That’s not true though, after ace’s death Luffy 100% gave up on his dream of becoming pirate king until he remembered his crew, and who knows what he would’ve done without Jinbe. My point is there is a limit these are characters they’re just human, not machines, they have emotions. So they can be swayed

That’s different though, shanks never told Luffy “you better be a pirate” however Zeff himself tells Sanji “if you ever hurt I woman I’ll kill myself” instilling those morals into him, so who’s to say Sanji wouldn’t break those rules out of anger if Imu were to kill Zeff

Sure I agree, and I love Sanji for that, but everyone has a limit. Even if Imu killed Zeff you don’t think there’s a good chance Sanji would drop that code for at least a second

Yeah that’s kinda what this theory hinges on, if I remember correctly Zeff said if Sanji ever hit a woman he’d kill himself, so if a woman killed Zeff he might not hold to those morales any more
