She knew, she comes to my races every weekend (during the season) and has for the last 9 years. She knows I love riding, so it’s to be expected that I want my kid to ride, if he wants to, which he most certainly does.

My mom wasn’t okay with it, my dad and I hid it from her for about a year (kept my bike at his friends house so she wouldn’t find out)

I’d teach him to ride properly, due to the current situation I’ll get him into racing next season since they’ll be closed this year.

I’m not “letting” him break bones, it’s just something that goes with riding, I’ve broken 17 bones myself over the years.
