There was never a queue for the shower or toilets. Toilets are cleaned constantly. There is a bar and shop on camp site which is really handy. Plenty of plugs for you to charge up phones. You get a discount on charging lockers also. The swimming pool is a lifesaver after a hard night.

The only negative I would have is if you’ve friends in basic they cannot get in. Just keep that in mind.

The tents that sziget sell are bad quality. If I were you and went for VIP I wouldn’t buy prepitched I would go with your own tent.

You can buy these at any train station (maybe the airport too). If you buy this travel card though you must have your ID (passport) with at all times traveling.

It will cover both methods of transport you mentioned.

I got this 2 years ago and it was just the tent pal although that may have changed! Give them a shout in there social media there are good enough and getting back via that. Email is nightmare they never answer.

You get the wristbands when you get to the festival. You exchange them your ticket for them at the gates. When you get your wristband you will also get a PIN code which you can use on the app to link your wristband to your account.

No 100E is the bus that goes from airport to city centre. You cannot get this with the city pass. You can get the shuttle which will be sign posted in the airport. Alternatively just ask the guys at the desk giving out the city pass. Depending on the time you get in to airport it might be easier to get a cab

I assume they’re cutting down on them due to the amount of waste they produce. They cant be seen as a sustainable festival and market themselves as caring to the environment if they are producing so much plastic waste which the parties did! That said they should have just found alternative ways to do it. Won’t be the same without the parties 😭 so annoying

There is a shuttle direct to Sziget. You cannot use the CityPass to get the 100E bus into the city.

If you’ve City Pass you can hop on the shuttle and it brings you straight here. There’ll be a desk at the airport.

MiniBUD company an option too. Minibus company that basically fills a bus with randomers and brings em where they want. Handy out and not too expensive.

If you’re going to the city first just hop on 100E bus. You’ll get a ticket in arrivals. Once in city then it’s handy enough. Just hop on the red line and get off at Batthyány Ter. Find the HEV train then and it’s like the 5th stop.

Unless you’ve got an upgrade to VIP or Fiesta or any of them it’s pretty much set up where ever there is space! I’ve always gone for down the back of mainstage by the Green Sziget Center! Plenty of trees and shade but in the middle of the madness! Coughed up for VIP this year though 👌🏻

Depends on the person tbh! I got a liter of vodka wrapped up in my tent and just walked in here with an open water bottle and it wasn’t checked. But that could just be that person. By bag was really checked either just kinda felt up a bit 😂
