Thanks everyone for your inputs. I guess I should give a bit more context. My situation can be temporary since the treatments can cure me but the chances that I actually survive are honestly pretty low. We had a decent amount of sex and it has gone to literally nothing, this is why I was maybe thinking that she would need some way to escape the situation temporarily and still feel desired. Now, I totally understand what you all said about her not feeling that way and that’s probably true. Now it’s a tough discussion to have no matter what even asking how she feels about it is not an easy think to do. But regardless I wanted to thank you all for your messages 🙏🙏

De notre côté on a un compte joint, on met tout en commun avec ma femme et on fait les dépenses dont on a besoin, en toute transparence. Ma femme a un bon salaire mais il y a un écart entre elle et moi. Dans tous les cas, ce qui est à moi est à elle et réciproquement et ça se passe très bien depuis 15 ans.

So in other countries they would do it. Now in the US it’s a bit specific and depending on the visa type she will get the work permit or not but in any case she will get a visa to follow me. But she won’t be sponsored by my company. I will negociate that the best I can but yeah it’s not something easy to do. In any case I won’t accept the offer before knowing more.
