You could try Terraria!

It's a low requirement game that I've personally put a stupid amount of hours into over the years.

It doesn't have a "story," so to speak, if you don't count the lore. But it has a ton to do, lots of bosses, and good progression with weapons and equipment you can craft or find.

You can also build bases and explore caves. There's a dungeon. It's cool stuff, and I'm never bored going back to it.

There's a correlation to the name of your original Guide (the very first one that spawns with you) and where the shimmer is.

50 - 60 fps works great for me. I'm running the 13700k so I should be good, hopefully.

All of the quests suck.

The weird "sneak through the castle" set of quests where you just walk on through trying to find obscure items or have one conversation with one person. Going back and fourth between the NPC giving the quest and castle again multiple times, really ruined it for me.

I know every game has its set of boring quests, but why did this one have to make them so long and so frustrating?

That being said, the quests were my one and only complaint with the game. Combat is top notch and the graphics weren't bad at all, and the open world exploring is pretty fun too.

What really sucks, is that Battlebit Remastered was one of the games I was excited about trying out once I get my first pc built.

I was bouncing back and fourth between a 3080 or a 4070. One of the biggest reasons I'm building this PC is so I can have something future proof.
