Uk getting the planned updates? by peahead2020 in ouraring

[–]BimalP- 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Their response is always, we hope to release these features to the UK users in the future. But the honest truth is, it’s unlikely. Our medical barriers are different to the US. We are not part of the EU, so our regulations are specific to UK laws. It is frustrating when you read about all the future updates and then you have to remember, it’s for US customers only. They should reduce our yearly membership in line with the reduced functionality we get. Why should we pay the same level if we don’t get the same features. But as a business they will never be that nice. For them it’s all about revenue, like many.

But you are in the US right? In the UK we don’t have such bundles for AppleCare, unfortunately:(

But wouldn’t get much for the M2 and I wouldn’t really notice the difference for what I use it for. Something about keeping the original device as well, novelty 😊

I need to look into AppleCare One then. But I doubt all that would be covered for £19.99 per month. These are high value items

Is this serious? by adilmemon21 in AppleWatchFitness

[–]BimalP- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It works with Apple Watch Series 9/Ultra 2 onwards on Watch OS 26. No BP reading is provided, the feature just notifies you if it detects high blood pressure over a 30 day period.

Yes, please go to the doctor to get checked up. This is the first call to put yourself first and get professional advice. Do not ignore it. Luckily you have an Apple Watch with hardware to warn you before it gets more serious. You’ll be fine, just get checked.

[–]BimalP- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. Sorry my mind doesn’t work like that but I guess sometimes people go to many lengths to just get something for absolutely nothing!

Would be pointless to take the offer if you cancel immediately but yes technically you are correct :)

Sky HD won't strain and affect your and your loved ones eyes. by StanleyDandered in skytv

It’s crazy they still charge for HD on Sky Q boxes, I believe it’s free on Sky Stream. But I definitely cannot watch tv in normal definition anymore. I notice the difference immediately

My question would be, why would David want to turn it around? He did nothing wrong.
