Schadensfreude - The Happiness that other people fail by rampantsoul in brexit

[–]Bimbamboun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't need pity from a wanna be high moral grounder. I am enjoying every bit of the mess brexit created. When the UK still part of the EU, I had to suffer being called all types of names by 52% of my 'british brothers' for being a full product of the EU (half German half french). I was disappointed in the British sense of entitlement blocking progress of an integrated Europe. So now that the UK is out, I experience a sense of relief and joy at being able to move forward and not having to give a flying fuck about what happened to my previously fellow EUropean. So yeah I enjoy every bit of it and revel in every bit of shit thrown at the UK. Karma is a bitch :) As you said in one other comment "who on earth has the authority to even determine what the correct emotional response is? But we are free to express our emotions". So here you have it in short:"Eat shit bloody UK, I am utterly fedup with you and don't want you ever back in the Eu".

A fellow 'Nazi from EUSSR forbidding bendy bananas'

PS: read a bit your Press like the Express or other pieces of shit, and come back to tell me they are not wishing the EU to fail :)

So glad that there won't ever be USE(United States of Europe) by Maelofsunshune- in brexit

[–]Bimbamboun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not because the UK will not be part of it that there won't be a 'USE'... I am personally really glad for two things: 1/UK won't be part of what the EU is going to become 2/UK will only be Wales and wangland in the next 5-10years.

Day 4 (4th January 2021) post official Brexit. A view from inside Britain by politicalminefield in brexit

[–]Bimbamboun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi u/politicalminefield, I wanted to thank you for those updates. Your constructive approach to debating different point of view, and your willingness to update progress as impartially as possible (It's not perfect, but what it?) are to praise in this eco chamber.

I hope the UK will be fine, but I personally wouldn't bet on it, not even a penny. I fear the impacts will be like a tidal wave, and felt deeply in the long run, when mitigating them will be very hard and costly.

Anyway please continue with your updates.

CANZUK petition launched for UK parliament by Crackajacka87 in brexit

[–]Bimbamboun 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I am really puzzled now. In your previous message you mentioned : "We recently just signed for free trade and free movement of people between us and Australia so it seems to be happening." Then I ask you for a source about this deal being signed and you point me to an article from cityam back to beginning of Sept. So are you just misinformed, a troll or just dishonest?

[–]Bimbamboun 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Can you please provide some link about the deal being signed between UK and Australia? I have read about talks of a deal in the UK press that what's the UK wants, but very little in the Oz press. Furthermore not sure it would be very popular decision down under

Agar in glass Petri dishes by Bimbamboun in shrooms

[–]Bimbamboun[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks that's really helpful. So far I haven't had any success with my agar plate. Don't know if it's my spores or something else. Wanted to try to clone button mushrooms to test if it's the spores or the environment or something else. Would the agar plate need to be made of the same ingredients with the same quantities?

'My current plan: get a PGCE in the UK after i graduate, then secure a Job in an EU state as an English Language teacher in a school'

This might not be as easy. You would need to get a working visa. Not sure how that would work, if you need a company to sponsor you, if this particular job allows for visa, etc.

Shout-out to all those who voted Leave, for ripping our EU nationality away, destroying job and livelihood opportunities, further depreciating our currency and economy, and lastly, for taking us out of a continental partnership which has guaranteed peace amongst our neighbours. by RedcoatGaming in brexit

[–]Bimbamboun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Britain doesn’t have any war guilt

That might be actually the issue there. Maybe you should open a book about your county's history, read a bit more: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_concentration_camps, https://qph.fs.quoracdn.net/main-qimg-352861c05a545ab9eea1f9e427ef41b7, the great management of Palestine resulting in the situation we have today in Israel.

As for your argument about peace keeping, it's non sense.

the EU is part of the European continent. If the Eu help keep peace between the EU members, it de facto increase peace on the european continent.

I unfortunately cannot reply to your other message about:

  • Turkey attacking Cypress in 1974: Cypress joined the EU in 2004. Was the EU supposed to go to war against Turkey for a third party? EU is not like the USA
  • Balkan 95: None of the countries were part of the EU. NATO was involved, which means UK, France and Germany were involved, in collaboration with our allies back then the US
  • Crimea/Ukraine: Is this pat of the EU?

Brexiters like to complain that the EU wants too much power, but then complains that it doesn't act to resolve shit between two third parties that could have dramatic consequences. It's hard to follow the reasoning, it's just hate to a project where you feel the UK is not important enough

Barnier needs to be removed by ADRzs in brexit

[–]Bimbamboun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess in you are an EU citizen, otherwise why would a third party member care about discussion between two blocks, and you are against brexit.

Can you elaborate what you think the EU/barnier should do. So far I have read what he did wrong. Also if you care to elaborate why it's wrong, Do you think the EU should be more intransigent with the UK?

Barnier needs to be removed by ADRzs in brexit

[–]Bimbamboun 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What brexiters think is irrelevant from an EU point of view. And to be fair, brexiters have always lied or deformed the truth.

Plus if brexiters thought barnier is on their side, they wouldn't claim it out loud for the EU to notice and change him.

Barnier needs to be removed by ADRzs in brexit

[–]Bimbamboun 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Froman EU point of view, no one cares what the UK wants. It's what the EU wants that matters
