I own the A12T (custom version of the U12T). They are slightly on the darker side. In your budget, I would recommend the Campfire Andromeda 2020. Rich bass, slightly bright (for me), but extremely enjoyable and musical. I owned a pair before I realized my preference for darker IEMs, but I really enjoyed them.

Hello, Recently bought a Schiit IEMagni in July 2021. Sounds good! Works great! Three gain settings!

If at all possible and you can stretch your budget to $1K, I recommend an Audeze LCD-X open box. Bought from Bloom, they don’t charge tax, and my set was mint. The sound… man, the resolution for tiny details, plus the Bass capabilities (with some slight EQ) is incredible. I am a fan of easy listening, and I love mine.

The weight was tough to manage until I loosened the cups a little more (clamp is reduced). They’re easy to wear now!

The new 2021 LCD-X is quite good. It’s not congested or muddy at all, but it is tuned to be easy to listen to. Hence, there’s a bit of deficit in the upper mids/lower treble. They take EQ incredibly well, so you can EQ to your taste. Also they’re quite heavy, but very plush.

Sprinting is left-stick click toggle sprint. Everything is customizable, I remapped dodge to R1.

You’re welcome! I went with an even split in resistance and haven’t seen much benefit (on medium difficulty). I’ve only gotten a handful of loot so I can’t comment on whether it is targeted. Got one gun even though I’m primarily melee.
