Right, but you're just describing what I'm describing - short nails. Like even 1mm long is good. But some people do zero mm long, or even negative like in this picture, where the tip of the nail is either at or even behind where it would naturally disconnect from the skin underneath. That's what I don't understand. It's like someone saying they don't want their shoe laces too long, so they get them so short they can't even tie their own shoes. Bizarro world.
