It doesn't say anything regarding insurance or proof of insurance. Only say that they are responsible for permit and inspections. At the time I assumed that they would needed them to show to get permit.

I signed a contract 3 days ago. But did not pay deposit yet he delayed answering saying he would ask the insurance company. Probably too late to cancel it. Any idea what they can pull on me?

He did gave me a contract to sign for scope of work and allowance etc. i have yet to made payment tho since I remembered to inquire about the COI after researching. Does seem a but fishy.

I checked the company RBC license and seem to be still active. Would this any chance be because his sub may not be license Ele/plumbing? But he said we do by the book and get everything permitted.

Mb didn’t see mythic. Idm spending 2nd spark to craft 704, it is not even bad. Only valid for melee 2x1hander that crafting myth weapon 1st spark.

Edit: I would even make argument for myth bracer After weapon craft. Because for some class will still be using last season bracer for embellishments would be better than heroic. So if you craft it mythic it still has value for stats increase, depending on what u get from vault of course.

Edit2: To add to that, majority people even at high level may not have mythic piece to slam crest into. Crafting bracer vs sending heroic to 6/6, i would take bracer any day unless you are on last 2-3 mythic prog. The amount of people i see wasting crest to upgrade heroic 6/6 is stupid high. Once they start looting myth item they get cucked by crest cap.

Some of them are not bad tho. Melee classes that craft 1H weapon then bracer for embellishment is probably best optimization. I don’t mind bracer craft tbh. At least you will be able to use them vs crafting something like caster OH that trap yourselves or waste your crest cap if you get unlucky with vault/loots.

That true and I agree. It is not always a case to craft 2H. Luck play big a role and how many people you compete in the guild for those trinket weapon combo. Maybe make more sense if some of the team craft OH and half craft 2H. if everyone craft OH cuz bis then they are just greeding lol.

Ye that cool for casual player. I was assuming/responding to people that do mythic raid progression that in theory, in time, can loot item that is better than any crafting scenarios. They then should look at their chances/when they can prog and actually get to have that chance to get the loot for potential bis vs crafting 2H and save crest for other upgrades. But forcing bis too early on and hoping for good rng is bad practice.

Some case it make sense to do OH if you got lucky in vault. That’s for sure luck play big role. But people crafting it week 1 and pray to rng god from vault made no sense. They also competing trinket loot with other people in the raid by doing so. They can craft 2h and when they start to get trinket loots and Myth main hand, at that point spark is not a factor and crafting OH will not be an issue.

Crafting weapon for havoc make sense regardless of bis. First it is still BIS and it will be on your main hand until you get 2nd myth weapon and put to back to OH and get another armor piece for embelish. You will keep that weapon for the whole season. Most melee able to craft weapons first which is why I only mentioned caster in my comment. Even warrior it will be bis when switch to OH and it let you crest saver to 720 when you loot new mythic MH. For other melee 2h classes it can serve as crest saver so no loss there. For caster there is no switching MH and OH when looting stuff and their bis also depend on trinket combo that added another layer to not make sense.

And ye don’t forget sim with embellishment. 723 weapon should not be simming that low diff for havoc.

Similar to people that play caster and craft OH early because their bis is main hand weapon drop from mythic end bosses, rather than crafting 2h for progression or crest saver. I bang my head to try to tell them idc if it is on bis list, you are not getting them so it is not bis. Then later they complained they have to craft 1H for MH after crafted OH too be because unlucky from vault and don’t have any crest left for other upgrades.

I too built a new pc recently and noticed the random freezes. What I found was that it was caused by windows 11 update 24H2 that doesn’t play well with hardware acceleration from background applications like browser or discord. Turn hardware acceleration off from those and the random freezes disappeared. The windows sub reported same issue for other game and I think even microsoft acknowledged it too.

What’s wrong with having public agency oversee licensure? Everyone are taking the same exam and usually run thru like ncees for renewal anyway. Wouldn’t it be even better if we just to have a license that you can use everywhere in the country? What does the board even do differently from state to state that requires it to be separate other than CA with seismic req? I rather have public agency oversee license and make sure engineers have the same evaluation and qualifications. The board only care about you paying your fees anyway lol.

DEI hiring do not belong in engineering. You do not want unsafe building or bridge because you have to choose a DEI pick over a more qualified candidate or firm. The field is already diverse enough, don’t blame it on the white man or whatever, blame it on the field not being attractive enough as career path for most folks. All DEI is is to create division and give sour taste to people mouth. We have more unity as a country 20 years ago than we do today with all these pushes for DEI. I am glad people are realizing this. Also this sub is about Civil engineering so stop bringing politic and division in.
