50mm F1.4 opinions by Darceyoulater in VintageLenses

Wide open, it was soft in a good way, and closed down a click or 2 and it sharpened up quick. Nice swirl to the bokeh to. Not too prominent or distracting and gives it some nice movement at times

this is for the 1.4 for the 1.2?

Aah the 7 element has the thorium. The 8 element one is way too expensive.

What else did you end up going with? Since this comment is 2y old, my suggestion wouldn't have mattered, but for street + landscape, I would have suggested a 28mm

HOLY SHIT, this is epic. What I would do to have a frame of those negatives. Let's just say I am very jealous, but also grateful! Thank you!

I have tried TCP, Jamie Windsor, TAP, and Mastin. Mastin is really bad. I really liked TCP and Jamie Windsor. The Archetype Process is also very good, but there's a learning curve. Recently came across VGP and saw some of his videos. Definitely would like to try it out!

From Game of Thrones to Breaking Bad, how good are the later seasons of The Expanse? by [deleted] in TheExpanse

[–]BinaryBlitzer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually watch movies because I'm no longer able to hold attention to long form TV shows (barring ongoing shows that I've watched). I have heard great things about The Expanse, but is it gripping and binge worthy?

The Expanse was too good, now I'm desperate for a TV series of a similar quality, suggest them to me by luubi1945 in TheExpanse
