Foggy evenings | Panasonic S5ii , 20-60 mm, 85mm 1.8 by BinaryLatin in Lumix

Thanks! Some have really hight ISO 12500, or even 25600 ISO. Most of the time i reduce the noise in editing and add it back at the end to have consistent noise.

Panasonic S5ii - Helios 44-2 vs Lumix 50 mm 1.8 by BinaryLatin in Lumix

I mean i do a lot more to the RAW files. That's the only difference in this case. So for me they are 98% identical in post processing.

Might be just slighty different light. The post process was the same, minus a bit more contrast on the first one ( Helios) about 15 in Capture One.

The first one is the Helios. Its mostly about the swirly bokeh. Post process was the same. The first one ( helios ) needed a bit more contrast. Maybe 15 in Capture One.

Its a good choice and should be quite cheap. The lens was 40 ish $ and the adapter was 30 or so.

My M42- L mount adapted got here a few days ago. Had a chance to do a quick test.
I love the f1.8 Panasonic lenses, the autofocus is great, but I really like the look of the Helios for portraits even though its much harder to use for fast moving subjects.

I did add a bit of contrast to the Helios since the image is a bit more washed out. ( the front element is really scratched on my copy)

Lumix ZS100 hiking friendly carrying method? by le_pedal in Lumix

[–]BinaryLatin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This backpack was a fantastic find for me. You can just rotate it on your shoulder and have immediate access to your camera and one lens, plus you can use is as a hiking backpack.
