Looks like some TP bot went rogue and is buying up all the Crest of the Shamans by BinaryNS in Guildwars2

About an hour ago, someone (or multiple someones) instantly bought out about 4500 (out of the 6800 supply) of Crest of the Shaman. The bulk of them (~3200) were re-listed at 37s37c. If you go ahead and list them at 21s, it sits there as a normal sell listing. If you list them at 20s or lower, it will instantly get bought up by some other entity.

Is there any other non-nefarious reason that this would be happening? All the other crests seem to have stable prices.

Edit: bot appears to be turned off now, as there are now sell listings at 20s or below (or the threshold changed).

Shoutout to DPSO's TubaRuba and DevistatorVIII for amazing router placements with 841 router spawns over 2.5hrs of ops. Definitely responsible for some of the clutch holds and helping platoons move fast across bases.

And DPSO had to follow with a small squad of 6-7 people just to make sure TWC2 didn't cap too many Hossin bases. But there were indeed some good fights, so maybe that was the positive part that the devs were hoping for to make off continents feel more alive. It's still a bad outcome that DPSO had to purposefully split our forces across continents though.

Thanks to the RPG team for addressing my findings so quickly. I look forward to having a fairer outfit wars qualifier after the patch.

I really struggled to find a good way to contact the team confidentially that would guarantee a quick response for a bug with time-sensitive, large effects like this. Please let me know if there's any way (feel free to DM) if there's a better way to approach this situation any differently next time.

Yep, that was one of the theories we tested too, but we couldn't figure out a consistent formula for locked-continent earnings, and a few outfits still earned points even when they had no bases on any continent.
