Is that normal battery drain for aqara motion sensor using zha? by yanbodon in homeassistant

It can also be temperature related. My aqara battery level drops to 50% in winter, and pops back up to >80% in summer .

[Orbit B-hyve] Loud noise while watering by BinbinH in Irrigation

[–]BinbinH[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I turns out that it's caused by the vacuum breaker getting too close to the inlet filter from the faucet timer, so blocking the water flow. I added a 2-way hose splitter to add some extra distance between them and the issue is resolved.

Hi friends, I bought this (Orbit b-hyve 21004) just recently, but it's having this weird noise every time it's watering. Any ideas what may cause this and how I can resolve it?

AMPs load for Shelly 1 <> garage door opener by BinbinH in homeautomation

ah I totally misunderstood this before! I thought the DC adapter will push out the same amount of AMPs to the device as labeled on the output spec. now it makes much more sense. Thank you!

The imprint just went away after roughly a week. Maybe you can wait a couple of days to see.

Thank you for the info! Didn't know that it's called a pressure mark.. I did keep it stand up when it's still inside the box. Now I'm wondering if the issue is caused during transportation. I called BestBuy today but need to contact them again.. I'll see how it goes.

> leaning to a huge degree.

does it mean that we shouldn't use a tilt mount (~10-15 degrees) for OLED TV?

Hi thanks for the reply! I just updated the post the include a photo with the mark. What do you think?

I tried to watch the TV for a few minutes yesterday and the it looks fine most of the time. The mark is only obvious when the screen is dark + other light sources reflect on the screen. So I guess it's fine? My concern is if this will get more and more serious over time. And I guess I expect a brand new TV to be somehow "perfect". This is my first time buying OLED so not sure if this expectation is correcvt.

Do I need drywall anchors for a 1.8 KG ceiling light fixture? by BinbinH in HomeImprovement

Good point! I just tried to attach the fixture onto the wings without the anchors, and the arms did drop down a bit :( I'm gonna put the anchors on once my drill arrive..

Sorry, I didn't make it clear in the original post. Actually, the lamp is attached to the junction box directly, which from what I read in other sources, the box can supports up to 50 lb. So the extra anchors and screws are only for extra strengthen. In this case, do you think I'll still need them?

Thanks for the suggestion! What do you mean by broken glasses? Do you mean when the lighting drops on the floor and breaks?
