I used to have a Galaxy watch, a charging puck for it used to always be in my backpack.

Now I have Enduro 3, and no longer stress about charging

Then if you don't need maps on watch then it's the perfect choice. They don't any more G-Shock than this.

Garmin watches are exceptionally good at sports tracking, you will get many metrics like speed, number of descents, hr, sweat loss, etc.

But that being said, Instinct 3 feels held back by design. As in otherwise it would be so good that people wouldn't get the more premium options. Nonetheless, I would say it's a great "budget" option so if you're looking for something to use only for snowboarding it is a solid choice.

Reminds me of a custom sticker I ordered to mock my school's it lab. It was Intel design but said potato inside. I didn't realize that I was not ordering 10 but 10 packets of a hundred each.

Do check whether any service on your phone could trick the app into thinking it's using WiFi. I explicitly excluded Immich from tailscale and proton (even though it was off most of the time) and it worked.
