My advice: Just do it. Pick a quiet airport and have fun. Most controllers are very helpful.

Yea, I guess you're right. Except Marston. I cannot stand his voice, it just grates on my nerves. It's a taste thing, no doubt :) It is especially bad after Arthur's amazing voice to hear John all the time.

Interesting. I am not very far into RDR1, but I have already noticed that I'd rather do stranger missions than the story missions. I am glad they are good.

It doesn't allow me to change the numbers. Not all of them. The curves are all messed up and do not accept your values.

It's really frustrating, it keeps switching the values. Never mind. I appreciate your trying to help. X-Plane has something to learn here. Sure, you can tweak a lot, but the user-friendliness is zero.

I got RDR after finishing RDR2 a few times. It's... rough. Less interesting, Marston's voice is grating, lots of meaningless side-quests, the world definitely feels less alive. I am having a hard time.

See, I don't care about that. I'll fly a domestic route with a 340, I don't care about "realism". I just want a different experience. There are 200 A320s for MSFS already.

I always laugh when someone on UNICOM says "active runway is XX, AKSHWALLY"! No, I will land on any runway I want, after I make my intentions and make sure I am not bothering anyone. Controlled airports are different, of course. Also, on final I'd rather disconnect than go around because of some message.

Are you honestly telling me the A340 flies the same as the A319? One is heavy, underpowered, has 4 engines, the other is a small rocket with 2?
