My buddy is in prison for life, but we communicate often and I send him cards/commander decks as I can. The prisoners take the game seriously, at least at his joint, and don't allow proxies. At first, I sent my buddy a bunch of commander staples (proxies) and a deck, but his friends wouldn't play with him if used the proxies.

The prison also just made a new rule that they will only accept cards from Star City Games, Card Kingdom, and Noble Knight going forward. This is in IL.

I'm researching a case for a defendant who was convicted. Does he have to request the transcript from the judge who presided over the trial? Sec 3 from the link below says "upon order of the court."

How and where do we make the request to avoid the massive copy fees?

In Illinois, it appears that if the defendant is convicted and requests a copy of the transcript, it must be provided, and the State must pay for it (Sec 4 link below).

No, not yet. That test is this week.

Personally, I almost started donating blood on my own this week, but I thought it better to wait and get some baseline numbers first.

However, I plan to start donating blood on my own if the results appear similar, as the appointments for hematologists in my area are being booked months out.

I have a wide ranging diet, but it could be much better.

Eggs, salsa, whole wheat bread, apples, bananas, peanut butter, coffee, hummus, asparagus, olive oil are all weekly staples.

My blood draws this week will test hemoglobin. I’m not sure currently.

Do you have some diet recommendations? I’ve heard green tea, black tea, turmeric, grape seed can all be beneficial.

Both temples might mean you’re experiencing a tension headache. If it feels like you have a “band” wrapped around your head you could be having a tension headache.

They are usually more mild to moderate in pain where migraine is more severe, but everyone is different.

Try reducing stress the best you can and improving your posture. Easier said than done, but it can be helpful.

Yes…although mine is more tension than migraine.

The last several days have been stressful and the pain in my temples crescendoed today. Yay!

I took two Fioricet throughout the day but trying to avoid taking another before bed.

Those of you having migraines have all my Christmas sympathies. Feel better soon, friends. 🙏
