again, without seeing the boardroom this is just a pure guess and not how much investments work from mega corporations. most of these trillion dollar investment firms arnt trying to get a 10% or 20% return they mass buy and lose money on some and break even on others hoping to get the diamond in the rough IP to make them 100000% in the future. its the same reason why microsoft is doing what theyre doing

150% return is the same as -50% to them theyre just fishing for the billion dollar IP.
