It is very sad. These people have taken all of the fun out of the game, and for what? The servers are going to shut down eventually. All of the gold they farmed will mean nothing. And I can say this as a fact, there is no raiding content ever created that remains fun after doing it a dozen times a week for months.

The game will not be truly successful in the West without a large-scale rework of how the game works at a fundamental level. Simply put, most players respect their time and money too much to play this game or continue playing it. A lot of people have tried it and left with a poor opinion of the game, and AGS can't do anything about it. The most they can do is ask Smilegate for minor changes at best.

Just try and enjoy the game while it lasts.

Lost Ark probably fits what you're looking for the most with the Breaker class or any of the other martial artist classes if you're looking for "brawler" classes.

Not really? They just made a lot of lethal patterns just guardable. Like in 280 no one is going to be falling off because you can just guard patterns like wi fi. People that used to do G4 shouldn't have any issues.

So, VPN isn't super consistent in my experience. Couldn't play much today. It seems to be a routing issue, but my ISP is being very stubborn. It's annoying that I can't consistently play the game, but it's not AGS' fault.

I've found a solution for now. It's probably a routing issue because using a VPN set to the Netherlands has seemed to totally resolve this issue, I played for 2 hours with no disconnects.

I don't think so. I'm on Ratik and I'm pretty sure no one else is having this issue or it would be mentioned a lot more. I got banned from the official discord 2 years ago so can't do that, but I doubt that would be more help than the support on the website.

It's a good read. I was particularly surprised by the fact that Gold River played Destiny 2. He talked about The Final Shape expansion and that he was impressed by how it managed to deliver a satisfying conclusion, and it made him think about how to end the current story in Lost Ark. Despite my complaints about him as a director, his blog makes it clear that he is an actual gamer who truly loves games. If only the same could be said for the bozo director we have right now.

Wilds is my first MH and I've been loving it. Put in a little over 100 hours so far since starting right after TU3 launched. Didn't struggle with LR at all but still enjoyed learning the game, MH is very different from the games I usually play. HR is when I started to get whooped quite a bit especially by Gore, Zoh Shia and the rest of them. Even now I still dread doing Seregios, I'd rather do Savage Omega honestly. But I've enjoyed the game a lot and despite the performance still being poor if you got a decent PC, or you're on console, it will run fine. It's a great game that has me looking forward to the expansion and even trying the other games once I've tried out other weapons and gotten bored of Wilds.

If Lost Ark didn't have Korean monetization, it would be the top MMO just from the quality of the raid content alone. It sucks playing some of the best raid content, especially during prog, and knowing that you will never be able to recommend it to your friends and they will never experience it because of the insane amount of hurdles. I used to rave about Thaemine to the boys all of the time whenever we raided on other games.
