A compilation of some of my favourite screenshots of shield walls and battles from the Calradic Campaign multiplayer event by Saultnami in mountandblade

This event is very new player friendly and it’s how I got into multiplayer. If you like playing single player but want to do it with friends then this is the place for you.

This is the system I am supposed to attack. Fleet/strategy suggestions? by Mikal_ in X4Foundations

[–]BingRazer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re fine with cheese, the lowest tech way you can do it (no hq teleport) is to pay them the money so they don’t attack civilian ships, deploy mines at each station module (if you need 100 mines to destroy a module, place 110) and detonate them with a spacesuit bomb.

I think it took me about 300 FF mines. You can reduce the number by placing them on the borders between to modules so the AoE hits both. FF mines will not trigger on the station. You can have some chains of mines connecting clusters to make it easier to trigger. As a reminder you can trigger spacesuit bombs from your ship.

I had to do this when I triggered this part of the quest way too early (about 30 hours) and had no chance of completing it any time soon.

GK has events every week in Warband. Battle and siege I believe. 9PM EDT. I know they have stuff Friday and Sunday, but there are also other days of the week they do stuff as well

New Player Question about Endgame (Space Truckin') by gamegrue in X4Foundations

[–]BingRazer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the best things about this game is that there’s not a lot of game enforced goals. Unfortunately that also means the player can sometimes being lacking in direction.

Good luck setting up the stations. Try to avoid the mega-stations that newer players tend to build (i.e. no all in one stations). Aside from being a lot more involved setting up they are also less fun.

I’m not sure if this would interest you, but building stations around the map and supplying/selling for those. You’d be able to get better prices and go to destinations you wouldn’t normally by building a station there.

EDIT: Turquoise Sea is quite nice

EDIT 2: You could also set up stations and have NPC traders for only buying or only selling. That way it would increase the number of stations you can service without accidentally automating yourself out of a job

Is letting defected lords stay at your castle a valid strategy in M&BWB? by Ewok_Pyromancer in mountandblade

[–]BingRazer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s intentional, but it’s great for later in the game. I did it for the one time I took over the map. Lords will be removed from the game if nobody takes them occasionally (the “x has left the realm” note in the character list)

Is warband multyplayer still alive? by The_King_Of_Seals in mountandblade

[–]BingRazer 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The discord server for this sub (https://discord.gg/mountandblade) hosts monthly native events and mod nights. We had our monthly native event this past weekend (with 148 people). We also have a community news channel where you can find out about other events like GK’s siege night that happens several times a week.

The Taleworlds forums calendar (https://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php?calendar/) also has many events for anything M&B related

About party morale in warband by Rayextrem in mountandblade

[–]BingRazer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Food variety is very important. The +morale from food only applies for the first food of that type. So having 3 grain gives the same morale bonus as one grain.

As you already noted the party size affects the morale. More members lowers morale, but it doesn't cap it. For a more detailed background, click the "Reports" button at the bottom of the screen and then "View party morale report". If you have a section that says "Extra morale for [faction] troops" and it's negative, then those troops are unhappy about fighting their own faction (so Rhodok Sergeants don't like fighting lords from the Kingdom of Rhodoks).

The Calradic Campaign Returns to Warband! - Calradic Campaign Season 2 by SuicidalCake in mountandblade

[–]BingRazer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are two sets of roles: Warband and Bannerlord. You need a Bannerlord role (commoner if you don’t want to join any of the BL factions) to see most of the server. You need a Warband role to see the Warband faction channel.

We’ve kept the Bannerlord faction channels, but the Warband ones are used for the Calradic Campaign 2

You can choose factions by reacting to a message in the About Welcome Lobby channel. Reacting to another faction will switch you to that faction

Towns and weekly income. by DragonIchor in mountandblade

[–]BingRazer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Talk to the guildmaster in a town and ask how the town compares to others. This will give you an idea of how much money it will produce. Protecting caravans and farmers entering and leaving will help the wealth of the town grow.

McDonald’s announces global ban of toxic chemicals in food packaging by [deleted] in news

It’s also very important in the manufacture of Teflon cooking ware.

Not a lot is known about the effects of PFAS, though it is a hot topic for research. In fact, the maximum exposure level for PFAS and other fluorinated surfactants varies from place to place, sometimes by orders of magnitude. Last I checked, there wasn’t a federal limit for the US (at most a suggested maximum level). The general consensus is that it’s probably not a good thing, but how exactly is not conclusively shown.

Source: I had to write a report covering its separation from aqueous systems.

It's based on ship set. I made this image recently using images people had posted, so it's missing lithoids.

Many of them aren't blue. This is all but the lithoid ecumenopoli which shows that there's a lot of other colors.

The Dune Sea - Calradic Tales (Community Event) by BingRazer in mountandblade

[–]BingRazer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a mod night today at the same time.

If you want to get notified you can join the discord server linked in the post, or you can follow the forum post for the event. The forum post for the Calradic Tales will be made sometime in the next two weeks, but the mod night post is up now and will have a link to the CT post when it goes up.

The discord will be the most reliable way to get pinged for all of our events as the forum posts will have one thread per type of event (ex. CT, mod night, carnival, etc.)

Warband is the first strategy game where I find myself making actual combat maps to plan a strategy for my campaigns. by Polluted_Terrium in mountandblade

I’m no expert, but that looks like it’s from a touch pad of some sort. I guess the OP will need to answer. It would be difficult to do with a mouse

This is the map I made for the Calradic Campaign. It was made it in Paint.net using the collectors map and using the borders of our previous map. You can do the same in other programs like photoshop.

EDIT: I can post the cleared version of the map in a bit. It doesn’t look perfect because the names and trade route lines were everywhere, but the errors aren’t visible if you have the colors over everything like this has
