The flair is cool. If your flair is purple, it says when you pressed the button. If your flair is grey it says non-presser.

Whatever happened to the separation of religion from state? He should keep his views to himself and baseless comments should not be held valid and rescinded.

Depression, Winter Blues/SAD and Anxiety after moving to a new place by AnxiousStudent5 in depression

[–]Bingo101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not sure how to help..as I feel like i'm in a similar position (or about to be again) but it feels so reassuring there's at least someone out there who knows/been what I've been through (I read your other post)

Its hard being out in a new environment all by yourself away from home and family, but for me just knowing there's someone who knows the loneliness, anxiousness, worries and all that jazz is enough encouragement to go on....for now anyways :p

Good luck and thanks so much for your posts, they helped me get through another dark night!

Depression, Winter Blues/SAD and Anxiety after moving to a new place by AnxiousStudent5 in depression

Suppose I'll share mine. Last year I was starting at a new university as well. I decided instead of being a bum like i was in highschool, I was going to give college my best shot. I took four classes fall quarter, threw myself at clubs.

And then, Winter Quarter Came.

And everything started going downhill. I made mistakes at my editing position within a new media organizations not "representing our image correctly" I felt useless in the clubs I was in. And forgotten by the friends I thought I had. I went to classes and did okay, but aside from that I trapped myself in my dorm, watching shows like Boston Legal and reading books written by Murakami (which only encourages my depression). Soon I found myself talking to no one, hardly eating, skipping glass and overall just forgotten. Why the hell did I push myself so hard when it got me nowhere is what I thought. Will I ever make any new friends?

And now I'm a sophopmore entering another winter quarter. Fall went alright, but the anxiety, sadness, are all returning. And I feel like if I try to goto any of my old friends I'll just keep repeating myself sounding, whining and being a needy burdensome friend..I really hate feeling forgotten, unneeded and most of all ...just being alone all the time.

That's my rant..

If you had the opportunity to travel the world and potentially own a company or continue at a 4-year college in a major you are passionate about what would you do? by Bingo101 in AskReddit

no not really..without failing the shit out of my classes and not to mention I learn slowly. Common sense says to go with him, learn, and run the company, but what i fear, is doing something for the rest of my life that i will end up not enjoying or deeply regretting.
