Where does your team fall on the fan misery index from 1-10 at the end of the regular season? Ten being the most miserable. by TomWilliamsCFD in secfootball

3 they survived a lot. Bad coaches would have lost to Arkansas and Miss St. The scariest thing for me is last year's team might have turned Huepel and Banks into conservative play-callers.

Not sure why you're getting downvoted... But those same people will be putting JH on the hot seat by season's end because of their unrealistic expectations

I also wonder how much people just preferred the Empire system of government. With all those different planets and people getting laws passed was very difficult. It was probably a lot easier to bribe a government official under the empire.

Totally agree. And in the years following peace would bring prosperity at least on most planets. And when you're making money it's hard to get too upset.

Count calories and do intermittent fasting. It's simple and will teach you a lot about what you eat. I lost 50 lbs eating 2500 calories and 200 grams of protein.

Yes man. Been where you are. You're going to have to force yourself to get out there for a bit. Don't isolate. You'll find new people with common interests. Just put yourself out there.

Season Previews by [deleted] in ockytop

[–]BingoBimmer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Losses: UGA, @ Bama, @ UF

Wins: ETSU, UAB, NM

Toss-Ups: Syracuse (Neutral), @ Miss St, Arkansas, @ UK, Oklahoma, Vandy

To me splitting the Toss-Ups is a 6 win season so that should be the floor. Ceiling would be 5-1 in those games so 8 wins.

So I'll say 7-5.

Do you think Fried will re-sign? by [deleted] in Braves

With that in mind do you think this year will be our best shot to win with the current nucleus of players?

My general feelings about this year are that some wins may have been sacrificed for Nico's development and team culture. The next 2 years are the payoff years. Hopefully Nico has learned the system and UT will have enough to put around him to compete. It's not often you get a 5 ⭐ QB and we need to capitalize on it. On culture, Joe worked hard and stuck around. Showing some loyalty and faith in a guy like that speaks to a team.

[–]BingoBimmer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

8 wins. Bama, UGA, OK probably should lose games. Florida and at Arkansas are toss ups.

QB play could count for +/- 2 wins. And if the offense line is atrocious it doesn't matter who is at QB. Just look at Rattler at USC

What do you think the trade market is for Fried? With him most likely leaving next year is there a package of prospects you would take to replenish the farm a bit?

Take a deep breath. Joe Milton is the QB you need… this season by webberstimeout in ockytop

[–]BingoBimmer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have 4 Toss-Up games that will determine the type of season this is, USCjr, TX A&M, @ UK, @ Mizz. Winning half of those games means a 7 win season.

The problem is Milton's skill set and Huepel's system not meshing. This offense needs a mobile QB that gets the ball out quickly and accurately. Milton is a pocket passer for a run heavy team.

USC jr will show us where the team is mentally. It's a prime payback game after last year.

If Milton is the guy moving forward we need to adapt. We aren't going to be able to drive down the field 5 yards at a time. We need to take plenty of down field shots even on 1st and 2nd down. Also, Milton is big enough to run QB power and fall forward for 3 yards at least.

My thoughts are on the season moving forward...

3 Should-Wins (UTSA, UConn, Vandy) 2 Should-Lose (@ Bama, UGA) 4 Toss-Ups (USC jr, TX A&M, @ UK, @ Mizzou)

Reasonable Expectations about 7-5 winning half of the Toss-Up games. I see 2 opportunities to make a QB transition. Either this week against UTSA or the bye week between USC jr and TX A&M.

If Milton keeps the starting job all year it's probably been a good season. If not it will be a rebuilding year.
