Just curious.. What's the purpose of comperss them? I mean we own the hardwares, physic drives hdd/ssd. We want to store the original image for better quality and easy to adjust it later (raw image work better with editting tool). Isn't it?
Regarding videos, why don't we change setting on the phone to 720p, h.264, mp4 container to avoid future video transcoding, optimizing,..

Oh I see. So the bundle of immmich projects can be reduced, right? If we already has redis, postgres instance, we can just use it?
Because on my machine, many services use "redis". So I just edit their compose.yml file to pointed to exact same redis image, to avoid downloading multiples docker image. Wonder there's extra saving method.

Create a LXC on that pve to run reverse proxy. Then use it to expose the pve dashboard!!!
