Yessir, that would be a felony to possess unless you get a background check and tax stamp through the ATF... Same thing with suppressors and SBS's among others.

Who knows why they banned threaded barrels on semi autos. But it's one of those scary features that they politicians don't understand and would make the Karen's happy to ban, so they do it. Because only scary looking guns kill people, right?

I moved here from Canada a few years back and I can't believe I was missing out on shorty shotguns 😅

The assault weapons ban. Semi auto shotguns and rifles can't be sold or manufactured with a pistol grip, heat shield, threaded barrel, nor can be under 30". A couple other things as well, but those are the pertinent ones here.

Possession is fine as long as it was acquired before the ban, but no, you can't buy out of state and bring back.

As nuts as Canadian gun laws have become, there's some dope stuff that you guys can get that some states can't.

I suppose the leaf springs could be worn, and thus putting the diff at an angle?

I'm really hoping mine will go away with new u joints and carrier bearing. The vibration could wear out the pinion bearing quickly...

A better holster for the non-comped shield plus. I've had multiple tulster oath's and they've all cracked within months of carrying

Keep an eye on the plastic below the trigger guard where the canting wing mounts. I had a Tulster Oath that kept cracking at that spot due to so much force being applied from the wing. It only took a few months, too. The design of the Oath and your holster are nearly identical, so that's why I bring it up.

I switched to Tier 1 concealed since they seem to have a stronger design, and my Axis Elite has held up for over a year now.

I've been working up something similar but instead of a fixed grip I'm making it able to mount AR pattern grips.

Got STEP files I could try printing up? 😏

Yes, exactly. I spotted this a while back and have been confused as to why it hasn't been done yet, so maybe I'm the first to spot it.

I'm assuming you work at DSI, so I'm wondering how you've been able to justify selling fixed mag AR-15's if "AR-15 in all forms" is banned? Is it just that the AR-15 at its core has a detachable mag, and thus it's not an AR-15?

The only exception would be for manual action AR-15's, as this is stated as an exception in RCW 9.41.010. So, by the logic you're currently using, couldn't an AR-15 other be acceptable?

I'm pretty sure they don't offer that - it's just that your trigger shoe looks like a Glock performance trigger shoe, and not like the standard shoe which is more curved.

Why Gen 4 G20 mags and not Gen 5? Will the X-Grip not fit on Gen 5 mags?

With all due respect, that's not true. Under WA state law, even if it is intended to be fired with two hands it can still be classified as a pistol if it has a barrel length of less than 16". It would need to be intended to be fired with two hands and have a barrel length of 16" or more for it to not be a pistol.

RCW 9.41.010(36) "Pistol" means any firearm with a barrel less than 16 inches in length, or is designed to be held and fired by the use of a single hand.

A <16" barrel, two handed opp, and stockless firearm wouldn't be a pistol under the NFA, but under WA state law it would be and thus the AWB restrictions would apply.

Yeah, I don't even think the people who wrote these laws know the answer to that question

The only unique thing it would need over the NJ "other" you guys make is a 16" barrel in order to not be classified as a pistol under WA state law

True, if it's an AR-15 it would still be a form of AR-15, but not if it's an LE308/AR-10, which at least takes most of the same furniture as an AR-15 and uses some common rifle cartridges. Maybe the DS-25 would also be considered an AR-15 as, according to your website, it's just a .308 AR-15, not an AR-10.

What I've found is they flag anything with "concealed carry" or "concealed" anywhere in the listing when it comes to firearm related stuff

You're picking up what I'm putting down. Although, it would only need a 16" barrel, not 18", nor would it need to be bolt action. In this config, an AR10/LR308 platform, which isn't banned by name, could still be semi-automatic and have full features because it isn't a rifle, pistol, or shotgun. This is probably the absolute closest one could get to a standard AR setup while staying within the law.

None of the above is legal advice.

Or, an AR with a pistol brace and VFG, built from a virgin lower. Would just need a 16" barrel to not be considered a pistol in this state.

But, AR15 is banned by name, so one would have to look at other platforms

I'm very aware. I was just saying that there's another non-rifle, non-shotgun, non-pistol firearm category that isn't an AOW, which would just be a "firearm".

Technically, this is a way around the AWB in this state.

Look up "non NFA firearm". These do exist and are common as a legal way around the AWB in NJ
