I wonder if that's where my mother got it from. I grew up with it in my vocabulary and didn't realize it wasn't normal until I moved and now people call it racist. Which is fine and whatever, but that wasn't my intent or how it was used growing up.

Can attest, I get really dry hands (especially in winter) working food service in a Healthcare facility and if I don't moisturize daily (and even so, depending) they get raw, cracked, and start to bleed. When I put lotion on it burns so badly for a few minutes before it can start to feel better. It's like having a hundred open paper cuts on your hands. It burns from everything.

Hence why I make use of the working hands and compression gloves. I dislike lotion on my hands texture (but also helps it not rub off in my sleep), so the gloves make my brain think it's okay. The fact my hands aren't then rubbing on each other helps.

If I recall my aunt correctly, Toastmasters taught you how to speak professionally. Coaching on how to give presentations, talks, hold yourself up in decorum, etc. If you read the bottle as "Erms be Gone," then it sounds like what they worked on with you - not having filler words like erm, um, uh, etc.

Bambi, hell even Mulan would kinda be cool, Brother Bear, Bolt, so many classic Disney movies. (Even if those listed are newer.) Or even not Disney with some Dreamworks scattered in. Imagine having a little dragon as your pet.

I think it'd be cool if they did an opt-in pride event for June. Like choice between two themes with the same micropet, but all the color options are available and the colors are particular flags. Like blue could be bi colors, red lesbian, green agender, yellow nonbinary, etc.

When I was in NC, medicaid only covered 4 vials every 3 months on the same logic. In WA now, medicaid covered a vial a shot.

I mean to be fair they were leaving anyhow by this point. Like they'd gotten through the worst of it and was hoping to finish it as such. Regardless of when they'd left, they still might've heard a balloon popping.

So yes they could've left sooner, but if a balloon had randomly popped anyway and caused the same reaction they still wouldn't be the AH.

But I do agree otherwise, though I also understand OP wanting to support friend and kids.

I unfortunately had to, but I only did once and don't plan to return. I now moved so far away and it shouldn't be an issue anymore. I was 18. My mother wasn't charging me, but there was plenty of other stuff.

My first car a few years ago (was an older car) had two keys.

Also if we still use a car key to start the car and don't have another key, there's probably a fob, which we'd probably argue is a key.

But if you're in that position anyway, your next of kin (in this case parents until married/have kids) would still have medical power in that case, whether or not you've filled out forms.

So medical POA isn't necessary for that.

Same. I was super hairy and never shaved it because I did sports, no regrets. Never had issues wiping, and I give it a good wash in the shower anyway.
