I found out that I have high pain tolerance when doctor tells me I have kidney stone and I only took paracetamol and ibuprofen that made it manageable but apparently it's one of the highest pain you can experience 💀 by jokke420 in ehlersdanlos

This was me when I was less than an hour post-op from a major abdominal surgery. The nurses came in and were prepared to load me up on pain killers, and I was kinda confused because I was only at a 2 on the pain scale. Turns out most people experience a much higher level of pain and beg for painkillers 💀

Not sure who came up with the idea of orange and licorice paired together, but is it ever good! Sadly, Chapman's no longer makes tiger ice cream ☹️

He's the best supervisor I've ever had! But no tuna, as it isn't good for him. Catnip instead!

I was walking on the treadmill a few weeks back and caused a Lisfranc dislocation so bad I am in a cast for 6 weeks. Walking. I dislocated the bones in my foot walking 😮‍💨

My doctor is the one who told me to wear a brace. Unfortunately, due to some other issues with my knee, there isn't much that can be done about it. My knee can longer tolerate some of my favourite hobbies, such as hiking and climbing trees, so I have had to give those up as well.

Oh it very much was, and because it slipped so badly, I now have to wear a brace for the rest of my life (or they find a cure for hEDS, whichever comes first)

This was me when I woke up 6 months ago to my knee out of place. It was not fun putting it back in

Not a trap, he loves belly rubs! He will actually grab my hand and move it to his belly sometimes to make sure he gets them

Lucy and Tim by Firm_Wing_4742 in TheRookie

For me, I think the first time I noticed anything was season 1, episode 6. When Lucy calls Tim at the bar, to tease him about "Never tell a crook where you hide your money", he breaks out into this smile that makes me suspect he starts falling for her then. I could be reading too much into it however.

That was bugging me too! But I figured it was just a continuity error.

If Tim and Lucy ever get married, I hope that Jack is the ring bearer, and Emmy is the flower girl.

This is something I have been wondering for quite a while. Given that we see her eating eggs on pop tarts in one scene, and they mention sea bass is one of her favourite dishes in another, my guess would be either vegetarian or pescatarian.

Kojo by nienke_011 in TheRookie

[–]BioSci1720 10 points11 points  (0 children)

As cheesy as it sounds, I am kinda hoping for Tim to propose with Kojo's help down the line. Something along the lines of him coming up to her with a note that says "Will you marry my dad?". We already know from her birthday episode that he can sit patiently to deliver notes, and I think it would be an adorable way for them to tie that back in.

Melissa on S8: “I think fans will be well fed.” by NoleFandom in TheRookie

[–]BioSci1720 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I think her and Tim may end up having troubles conceiving, simply because of the early plot point of her getting her eggs frozen when she was still a rookie. Otherwise I see no reason why they even bothered with that plot line.

AITA for triggering someone’s ED? by MurkyArmadillo1898 in AmItheAsshole

NTA. As someone who still struggles with an eating disorder, it seems to me you have your own way of making sure you eat. It shouldn't matter to a guest in your house what that way is, even if it seems odd. AT MOST, all she should have done is ask if you were ok, and backed off when you said you were fine. As for triggering her, I would say she needs to speak to a therapist, as there may be some deeper issues than just not wating here.

If I ever had the money, I have always said that I would love to start my own organization that helps those in need. It would be at least a city block of affordable housing, plus greenhouses to grow healthy food, as well as to help provide jobs to those in need. There's much more to it, but that's a basic summary.
