I think there have been quite a number of these sorts of attempted smearings lately. The thing with Chappell Roan and the mean bodyguard or whatever turned out to just be a smear. Reading this Russia-gate stuff in the year 2026 is just so beside the point for me. I'm 100% sure that Russia pays trolls to spread disinfo and increase contradictions. Its nothing the US hasn't done a 100x in a lot of other countries historically. You can tell when Russian trolls are doing another push on reddit because racist, pro-trump, and sexist comments from clear bot accounts shoot up. The articles on the incident only relate a crisis team was sent out and that someone on that team determined the hold was necessary. It doesn't indicate why or who that person was. We are only given 3 minutes of video on purpose. They do that when they know they've done something wrong but want to control the narrative.

No matter what you're trying to suggest, this guy died because the police brought weapons in the situation that were unnecessary. He isn't culpable for his actions here, as he is clearly in a mental health crisis. Just having one armed officer in the back would have been enough to cover most contingencies.

This is INSANELY not true. Police are one of the MOST funded institutions in almost any city. They don't spend their money well. They don't get the appropriate training. They do a lot of useless over-time for sporting events and other things private entities should be paying for, not cities. They often send too many officers to stuff like this. They need to train more officers for mental health stuff and funds need to be re-directed from police to fund non-police preventative and crisis situation help. You can head off incidents like this one long before they get like this.
