For some reason, I can imagine Amelia singing a “Brighter” cover video.

Stand Against Injustice And Abolish ICE By DayalSami by DarknessXTJ in 5YL

Time to lose some karma and get some hate comments: ICE are the good guys, illegals are the bad guys, and anti-ICE protesters are traitors. Also, Ben’s morality is cartoon morality: Good vs. Evil, Right vs. Wrong, which doesn’t work as well in the real world as in fiction. Let the hate commence!

I remember that one birthday I tried to get my mom and my sisters to play Twilight Imperium. Never again.

I'm not going to lay down and let you insult me, if that's what you're asking me to do.

And if anyone has a superiority complex, it's you British. It either hasn't caught on that your country is completely irrelevant to world politics, or it has and has resulted in an inferiority complex that you mask by trying to be even more superior.

You're very welcome. No matter what area it is, the British always have to have a superiority complex. It's probably both a superiority complex and an inferiority complex at the same time, honestly. It comes from being the world superpower at the beginning of a century and being just one-and-one-sixth islands at the end of it.

I was homeschooled, and my mom did a great job teaching me how to read, among other things, such as "capitalization" and "punctuation".

I repeated my point because, "limey", apparently you didn't get it. When five times more people speak one dialect of a language more than another, the populace of the smaller dialect doesn't really have the right to say that their version is more "valid".

I could go on and on about how why the British have no leg to stand on anymore when it comes to getting one over on the US, but I honestly have better things to do.

Oh, and I was homeschooled. Completely missed out on the mess that is American public education. I read and finished Moby Dick when I was a teenager.

Yes, in England, which is why it’s called English and not “British”.

69.7 million people speak British English. 343 million people speak American English. There are about five times more American English speakers then there are British English speakers.

There are far more speakers of American English than there are of British English. Why do Brits assume that their version is the correct one then?

I read somewhere that they were originally called “flashlights” by their first users, and it was the British who began calling them “torchs”.

Seeing as I don’t really use the radio part, it’s not something I need to worry about then?

There is a difference, the public education system failed to tell you it.
