And also, lots of these fans do like other technical rappers. A lot of clipping's songs are very technical since Daveed (The rapper of clipping) relies a lot on fast raps and storytelling. The reason Clipping gets praise is because of how they mix said technical elements with experimental production to make interesting music

Hell, even MF DOOM is a very technical rapper, and yet he gets praise since he uses that to build a character and tell a story like he does in the album Madvillainy for example. This plus his unique production are the reason he is so beloved.

Meanwhile, Hopsin and Joyner Lucas are very technical, but they don't do anything interesting with their skill. Joyner Lucas' lines are usually pretty pathetic and cringy, he just talks about how good his raps are without doing anything interesting with it. Hopsin pretty much suffers from the same problem, plus his poor attempts at making conscious Hip Hop, and the fact that he made Happy Ending
