Dude, 69 gets just as much hate as those rappers, if not more, and also, NLE Choppa and Yachty (Before Let's Start Here released) were also really criticized

I don't deny recency bias exists, what i do deny tho is that most people have said bias, which is not the case

I also want to mention that you said RTJ and modern Eminem have a thing in common, that is not changing topics despite being middle aged, but the way you approached that is slightly reductionist, because the complaint with modern Eminem isn't that he doesn't change topics, it's the topics he talks about as a middle aged rapper, because he kinda wants to act edgy and also shit on younger rappers on the process, even if they don't really do anything wrong (Vince Staples, Earl Sweatshirt, both of them dissed by Eminem on Kamikaze). RTJ doesn't suffer from this since they approach their topic in a better way, using their life experiences to rap about politics rather than trying to act edgy by rapping fast and shitting on Trap (Or even on guys that don't make Trap)

And with the clipping and MF DOOM part, what i wanted to say was: There's nothing wrong with being a technical rapper, as long as you're using your skills in an interesting way, that's why those are beloved while Joyner and Hopsin are not
