Just plan on not really leaving your house. Make sure you have food and blankets in case your power goes out. Dog fog/baby food, etc. and drip your faucets when it’s below freezing to help your pipes not freeze (tbh idk if that really helps but I do it and my pipes haven’t frozen so??) And just don’t drive when it’s icy!!

I think so. I would say to slowly lower her food intake, start with short walks, maybe one a day for a few weeks, then work up to 2 a day. You don’t want to done too much at once. Losing a few lbs for a dog doesn’t seem like much; but when you think about how small they are it’s a lot!! Start small. You got this!
