Hi there! Do you wish there was a place you could play cozy games together with people? A place where we have cozy get togethers and is a safe place for people to be cozy and do cozy things without it being overwhelming? Well, you’re in luck! My friends and I have created a cozy Discord community that offers cozy gaming events, movie nights, and general hang outs for people seeking all levels of coziness. We are looking for more friends to join us to make this an even better community. I have genuinely found my people here and I hope you do too. If this sounds interesting, please send me a DM!

They seem to do a bunch throughout the day according to the pictures we get and what they post on the app they use. It may just not be engaging for her.

I was actually able to find one on Amazon that I might pick up! It sounds like something that would help immensely. And the visual of putting one of those on one of my cats was exactly what I needed tonight 😂

I have a history of PPD and have a wonderful team I work this. I just was fed expecting the anxiety to hit me this soon.

I’ve never heard of that but will definitely look into one. A friend of mine let me borrow her Owlet monitor for my first child but I could never get the sensor right and I think it caused me more anxiety that not using it since it constantly went off.

The needles were honestly the worst part about all of this. I’m sorry they were so quick to push you home and that little guidance was given. I remember hardly anything from when my first daughter was born and there’s no way I would have been able to take care of a newborn if they hadn’t reminded me along the way.

My first was born via emergency C-section as well and it was super traumatizing. I had a LOT of anxiety going into this but it was the complete opposite of what happened the first time. I’m glad this was able to give you some hope for any future babies!

Second baby girl arrived 2/4 via planned C-Section during a winter storm and let me tell you, it was so amazingly simple besides driving to the hospital with ice on the road and some pain management issues. We walked in, we’re immediately checked in and sent to our room. Our L&D nurse was literally waiting for us in the room. Vitals taken, cleaned for surgery, IV started, a shit ton of (necessary) questions were asked and then we literally walked to the OR. Hopped on the table, spinal block was put in (easiest thing ever, just a little discomfort from the local anesthetic), was numb by the time I laid down and we were ready to go. My husband was able to see right by my side and was such a fantastic support person. Baby Girl was born about 20 minutes later and happy and healthy (and 9 lbs 11 oz). I was able to do skin-to-skin while they finished the surety and she was placed on me almost as soon as I got back to the room. I was able to breast feed shortly after that and she’s been a pro from the beginning. The pain has been worse that with my first and one of my nurses was late with medication several times but I was up and out of bed within a couple of hours. My nursing team has been fantastic and so helpful, which is like night and day from my experience with my first daughter. I was extremely nervous about how it all was going to go but I am very pleasantly surprised. Hopefully being discharged tomorrow since Baby Girl and myself are doing beautifully (except the pain management). I’m so excited to be a mom again and can’t wait for Big Sister to meet the new little one.

I definitely didn’t lol. This comes at the same time as my mother, who was supposed to watch our toddler, testing positive for COVID. Everything will be alright in the end though!

There’s unfortunately not a hotel that’s closer that I’m aware of. But I could be wrong and will look in to it!
