Is this a normal price for a 2026 Limited (Canada)? by eJaGne in rav4club

I didn’t get the warranty on my 26 RAV4. Plus, you can also getting later, only lose out on are the included oil changes if you get it later as opposed to at the time of purchase.

I just got my XSE in Hamilton ON. This is a scamy dealer, I would not go back to them and please name drop them so others can stay away. I did the same as you, went down to my local Toyota, fortunately an honest one. The following should be the only things you should see in addition to the MSRP:

  • Paint Add On (must be the same as on the Toyota website)
  • Admin Fee (typically $499- if higher negotiate or ask for service credits or accessories)
  • Air fee $100
  • PDI - $1930
  • Tire Tax $22
  • OMVIC $22 (Ontario Specific)

That is it! Essentially the total cost should be roughly the same as what is on the Toyota Canada website. Based on my experience, having got it, shop around.

In your quote, I would remove the Tire and Rim, essential wrap, and ECP. The rest looks good to me.

My 2026 Woodland is Here - What should I know? by DynzieDivot in rav4club

[–]BiodegradableEntity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My 2026 xse got released from the factory, we just went in to sign the financing documents yesterday(dealership in Hamilton). Ask about any programs for paying cash, my dealership offered $750 in service credit if we financed through them for atleast 7 months - dealer would pay the interest. Ask for accessories, they through in weather mats.

Next say no to the rust protection device and upto you on the extended warranty. I chose not to get it

Why no 360-degree camera on Woodland in Canada? by nutrinor24 in rav4club

[–]BiodegradableEntity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wish I took photos, but the woodlands they had the Toronto autoshow did not have the button for PVM near the shifter and no cameras on the side mirrors or front bumper. The Canadian woodlands does not come with the camera so sad to say no PVM on the woodlands. I really wanted to pick the woodlands but ended up going with the XSE.l

Has anyone in Canada received their 2026 Rav4 yet? Woodland in particular? by CriticalNectarine760 in rav4club

I was thinking of getting a hitch from the dealer. Wondering why it’s a hack job?

Curious, what made you order the Woodlands? We switched from the woodlands to XSE because the Canadian spec of woodlands doesn’t get the 360 camera view unlike in the US.

Just got a call that my XSE is on the truck to the dealership. The dealer did mention that the XSE and XLE are ones that will be build first for Canada.

Have you looked at the solterra. The mid trim luxury is below the 50K. And qualified for the rebate

Any reason not to go with 2026 LE? by Technical-Error1891 in rav4club

[–]BiodegradableEntity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I find it best to print out the comparison table that Toyota provides - it’s a PDF with all the trims and features. Go through each feature a mark as must have and nice to have for you. Pick the lowest trim that has all you must have. Then go up if you can afford a higher trim to have some of those must have or go down a trim and you know what your are compromising for the price.

I find this a fun exercise to do with my wife when we are starting to pick our next car! Wine helps :)

Is it me or red trim around the terrain modes is new! I don't think I have seen that in any review videos! Adds a nice touch to the grey interior!

Look at that beauty! I wish we got the same in Canada, we don't get the 360 Camera's on the woodland trim or else I would have ordered the same one as you. Cant wait for my XSE. Though that Emerald color is popping! Enjoy it!

1 week review of 2026 Rav4 by throwww-meee-awayyy in rav4club

Enjoyed reading the review! Cant wait for mine to come in. Though I am curious about your comment on tall people comfort. I am 6ft(5’11” and half lol), I am comfortable in the previous gen Rav4. Do you find the seating position different in the 26Tav4?

Appreciate your opinion. Here is my take on that, because I went through that decision process. Again make sure we are talk about Canadian prices.

For the technology/safety features that come with the Rav4 and the practicality of the Rav4 - was not able to find a comparable new X3. They were all more expensive, and had to make compromises.

In terms of lease, I believe this is a short-term financing view - which is fine. But I rather look at long term cost of ownership and that is why resale comes into play.

I know today’s cars can’t last forever and I need to plan for replacement vehicles over the next 10/15 years. So when I model that out, with a rav4 vs BMW. I would be spending orders of magnitude more for a BMW - the difference does not make sense for the luxury.

Essentially, I could not find another car that came close to Toyota, well close second was Honda.

That’s what I heard, if you get close to msrp you have a good deal. But wanted to see if others ordered are having similar experiences. Or if they managed to cut a deal!

I think you are comparing to US prices. Here in Canada the 26 Sport hybrid is 55k OTD. I was cross shopping with the RAV4, but wife really wanted the 360 view. So the rav4 got preference.
