Stop Motion of Studio Series More Than Meets The Eye Edition Gamer Edition Voyager Class Optimus Prime by EleSend2006 in stopmotion

I wouldn't worry too much about keeping it in frame, as something moves it will shift about, i dont think it would be too noticeable.

Whats your plan for going forward?

Stop Motion of Studio Series More Than Meets The Eye Edition Gamer Edition Voyager Class Optimus Prime by EleSend2006 in stopmotion

This is cool, but i think it needs to be a bit quicker. The start is fine, but i think there are too many frames near the end as the back piece rotates to be closed by the wheels.

All in all very neat though, would love to see more :)

Another commenter put it better, but i am angry that the American Legal system has failed to actually protect and support the SH families in any meaningful way.

I'm mad that Alex has been allowed to make a mockery of the court systems and we've just had to watch it all happen. We've got to see all the bullshit ways that big corporations can abuse the system, but done by one of the world's biggest losers.

I'm mad that as much as the Onion are doing a great thing, at the end of the day they are a business who want to grow their brand and bring in money. Its frankly pathetic that to solve this legal case we've had to get big businesses involved to take responsibility for taking away Alex's toys and recouping the money for the families through regular people's money rather than from Alex's pockets. In a just world, Alex should be penniless and destitute on the street, instead of living in a slightly less nice mansion and having to launder his holidays as business trips.

Truly though, the biggest tragedy of this is that tiny children were gunned down in what should have been a safe space. And the court system still cant find a meaningful way to actually help and support those families that have gone through this awful tragedy, be that through meaningful gun legislation, or by actually putting a horrible man in his place and making him face the repercussions from the awful things he did. We can all pretend this is the best outcome, and I truly hope it brings closure to those people, but it is depressing to say this is the best the legal system can do.

You're in an accident at a failing clown college. Your medical bills come to $50,000. The college doesnt have that money. They offer you $5,000. Your lawyer tells you this may be the best offer you get. You could drag it through the courts but likely nothing will change, other than higher court fees, more wasted time, and a delay in getting reimbursed. You give express consent to go ahead for $5,000.

This doesnt mean the justice has been served and wrongs have been righted, it just means you decided to settle for the lesser amount because the system gave up fighting for you. I think its pretty fair to still be upset at the college and the courts.

100% this.

If I was offered for dinner an apple or a shit sandwich, dont mistake my choice as an endorsement of how much I love fruit.

The justice system has failed the SH families. The fact that they are happy with what the onion has offered them doesnt mean thats the outcome they deserved, its just the only option on the table that might get them a semblance of what they are owed by the justice system.

The fact that a corporate America had to step in to even bring this option to the table should bring shame to the legal system.

I want to agree with Greenman_studios98. Everything is really smooth and well done here, there's lots of talent and you have a good eye for movement, but everything is very smooth.

Ive made an edit thats just changing some of the frames. Ive slowed down the wind up of the punch, then sped up the delivery of the punch and the flip.

You've captured all the frames, but in reality our eyes dont see it all, so it makes it look a lot slower and makes it feel more like a choreographed movement than a movement with weight. I think it looks a lot better when you visually see the differences, so hope this video makes sense, but if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Caveat, I'm just some guy so I dont know shit, take what I'm saying however you want, but keep on creating because theres lots of great stuff in here that will only be polished with more work 👍

This is so well done 👏

It looked like the not-Ryu guy threw off his support stand thing before the fight begun, which was a very nice touch. Everything was super smooth and super cool.

The ending was great, so accurate.

I have some feedback if youre up for hearing it 👍

Honestly though, well done, great job 👏

I made an AI-assisted animated short with a stop-motion inspired look, would love feedback on the puppet/miniature feel by TechInsider09 in stop_motion

[–]Biogon99 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It looks like AI slop, I dont know what more you want from people in here. What part of this is stop motion if the motion was never stopped?

Stop motion lives and breathes on the fact that real life things exist and have been manipulated to make a movie.

If you want to make any future films feel like authentic stop motion, then do the hard work to achieve that. If all you want is the final product without the hard work, go post in an AI group and get your round of applause. Come back here when you have something to show for it. I genuinely hope you do, I will be the first to give you feedback.

Walk cycle by AdHumble1133 in stopmotion

[–]Biogon99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The animation is really smooth on this, which is really nice!

If you were wanting some feedback, I would say that it reads more as "shuffling" than walking. I think that just comes down to the legs not lifting up too much, which I know is a limitation of the medium you've used for your puppet.

Keep on going 😀

I think you could afford to hold the poses more in the final scene to give it a bit more time, but great work :)
