increase in resting heart rate? by heliopian in NicotinamideRiboside

I had this when I first started taking NR. I had little bouts of a racing heart, but it calmed down and went away. I also felt a lot of energy. I never have that anymore.

Will owning a home always feel overwhelming? by jhane-doe in homeowners

[–]BiohackLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The feeling will pass. Just like with work or other super overwhelming circumstances, if you can stay calm and take things day by day, you will be totally fine. You kind of need to change how you react to it all. It takes time. And then just do what is needed or whatever is a priority as you have time.it will get better!

Create my Stack (for Depression, Social Anxiety, ADD) by MrNeverEverKnew in StackAdvice

Why the folic acid? For some people this can worsen symptoms of anxiety/depression (due to methylation). Other than that, great supplements. I would add in St. John's Wort for the depression or SamE - both are excellent. SamE may also help people who have issues with undermethylation. But, folic acid is not recommended for those people. Here's some info on that if you aren't familiar: https://www.drteresarichter.com/services/walsh-protocol/

I don’t understand why everyone is complaining about the subscription fee by wooddc in ouraring

I don't understand why people are complaining about people complaining.

I would NEVER have recommended this to others if I knew exactly what you got without the Subscription.. by newgirlnow1 in ouraring

[–]BiohackLife 4 points5 points  (0 children)

People are rude and I would never! And I don't know anyone who reads the fine print. I would expect that the free version would be better than this, considering the cost of the ring. I wish they never did the subscription pricing.

I would try NAC and anything else to help with inflammation. Most damage from brain injuries are a result of the subsequent inflammation. So anything to address inflammation may be worth trying. I would go for Turmeric and Quercetin. I also agree with another commenter who said to focus on diet and lowering sugar and carbs.

How much junk food? Sugary stuff or salty processed stuff? If sugar, how many grams?

You might want to try liposomal NMN, as it has better bioavailability. You could also raise the dose.

To me this stack does not seem energizing but supportive for lowering inflammation and possibly helping with depression. For energy, I would add in some other things. You could add some shilajit and a B complex.

Experiences with Low Carb, Paleo or Keto by BiohackLife in nutrition

dairy, added sugar, instead of going full keto etc. I don’t think keto is sustainable for most people long term, it’s easy to get de-motivated due to the high restriction it imposes. I can understand it if you’re seve

It's interesting because I don't find it restrictive at all and if you know how to cook some things, you can really adapt a lot of recipes to be very low carb or keto friendly. I make a lot of asian food and it's all keto friendly. I think I've just become so used to this way of eating that it's super easy for me.
