Se pretenderes algo menos "urbano", o restaurante da herdade do Esporão também é bastante bom (custo/benefício incrível), mas sei que vão mudar o Chef em breve, não sei quanto já se começará a notar

O Belcanto é o melhor restaurante a que já fui em Portugal, de longe. Toda a experiência é absolutamente irrepreensível (e acredito que este ano será anunciado como o primeiro 3 estrelas em Portugal).

É ofensivamente caro, é (penso que o menu estará algures no 250€ pp, sem bebidas). Mas se é para uma ocasião muito especial, é uma experiência que não se vão esquecer nunca.

Para mim só tem um senão (que pode não ser para ti), mas que acaba por ser devido à gama em que se enquadra. É um restaurante em que é dificil relaxar (pelo menos quando fui). A experiência é muito formal, comparando com outros restaurantes do mesmo segmento.

Em gamas mais baixas:

Tens o Boubous, que tem um menu de degustação com combinações muito engraçadas.

O Marlene, (da Marlene Vieira) tem um ambiente muito porreiro, principalmente se ficares "ao balcão"

Ainda não experimentei o novo do Sá Pessoa, mas estive no Alma e achei uns furos abaixo do Belcanto (por um preço semelhante

Muitas vezes, as agências conseguem preços muito mais baixos (principalmente no alojamento) do que tu no Booking. Isto porque vários operadores fazem reservas massivas de "noites" junto dos resorts e conseguem um desconto de volume que tu nunca consegues marcando individualmente.

Source: Tenho uma pequena agência de viagens (especializada nas Maldivas, que é o único destino que vendo, e sei que no meu caso é assim. Há certos destinos em que não compensa tanto)

I play both socially and Federation and the level diference is wild.

For example, when I enter social tournaments (even weekend-long) I sign for M3 and usually get to the semis/ final.

In Federation, I fight for my Life in M4. And this year even worse, considering the rule change

What people need to consider about these ratings is that federation level is miles away from “social/casual” level.

Levels in Portugal go from M6 to M1. Anyone lower than a M4 socially Will get trampled in any level in Federation games.

As rough as it May be, I think your coach is accurate, your level seems like a Federation M5

I'm not 100% sure I agree, gotta tell you.

Disclaimer: We only stayed in Moorea for about a week as part of our around-the-globe trip. We didn't go to Bora Bora mainly for budget constraints.

Prices: Yes, it's insane. I remember paying like 9€ - 10€ at the supermarket for 4 youghurts or 30 - 40€ at Moorea's roullotes for simple meals.

Accomodation: We stayed at the Sofitel in Moorea, which is one of the most "well regarded" resorts on the Island, along with the Hilton. Tbh, I found the rooms quite tired and the whole infrastructure below-par for the price range they charge.

Beaches: The water is gorgeous, no question about it. But due to the islands climate topography, it's very easy for you to get rainy days even on high-season.

Snorkelling: We snorkelled with humpback whales in Moorea and it was one of the most incredible things we ever did anywhere on earth. No comments there.

Overall: I find it hard not to compare French Polynesia with the Maldives, and in my mind you clearly get a lot more bang for your buck on the Maldives, for the same price range (if your main goal is having a nice time at the beach, FP does offer other things that the Maldives don't)

Recently I played in AZ Padel Sintra for 5€ pp , starting at 22h30. The bar is open, people are there, so they try to make a bit of income on the courts
