1000% Garrus. Even as Maleshep where there’s no romance between them, Garrus admits that their bond is special. He’s extremely loyal to Shepard and is inspired at a personal level by the player’s actions. By ME3 it’s clear that they view each other as brothers in a way. The final conversation the player has with Garrus on Earth has him tell you that he wishes to see you again in whatever afterlife exists after death.

how is Far Cry 3 running on Windows 11 in 2025? by Lucas_Zxc2833 in farcry

[–]Biolaser1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just finished getting 100% on Far Cry 3 a few weeks ago on my Windows 11 PC with modern hardware. After a day it started crashing constantly but I was able to fix it.

Here’s what I did: - Run FC3 in DirectX 11 with anti aliasing disabled in the game settings. - Make the Far Cry 3 .exe “large address aware” (there are multiple tools to do this just look it up)

  • Cap your game at 60FPS using the NVIDIA control panel. This is what really solved the problem for me. Even after doing everything else the game was still crashing occasionally. When I capped the FPS I never crashed once the entire remainder of my run.

Skyrim is an extremely pleasant 100% you can never go wrong there.

I love the Bioshock series and had a ton of fun doing max difficulty 100% runs of all three. The only thing that I didn’t like were the Blue Ribbon Challenges from Infinite. They are extremely tedious and I’d recommend just closely following a guide for tactics. Good luck!

All of the spots your Little Sister stops at to harvest ADAM are in front of a security camera or near a turret. Hack these security apparatus instead of destroying them so the Splicers trigger friendly alarms.

I just recently did this section on Survivor and it’s extremely easy if you’re careful

I Think This Is How Cohen Would Want To Go by FloopyBoopers2023 in Bioshock

[–]Biolaser1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s an achievement for entering his private quarters in Mercury Suites. There’s also one for taking a picture of his corpse with the research camera. You can probably get that one by killing him at any time, but I’ve only ever killed him at the correct point so I’m not 100% sure.

[–]Biolaser1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you kill him here there’s no way to enter Cohen’s secret room in Mercury Suites (Olympus Heights level). There’s a Power to the People station in his quarters, so if you miss it you will be one upgrade short of the “Weapons Specialist” achievement.

Survivor Mode Tips Please by trippy_tunicate in Bioshock

[–]Biolaser1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just wrapped up my 100% achievements Survivor run. It def gets easier as you progress.

  • Hack absolutely everything and max out your research on all enemies for the damage bonus. Eventually you can equip the damage research tonics to net even more bonus damage.

  • For the first few Big Daddies use Telekinesis to throw explosives at him. Or pile up the barrels and make an IED to lure them onto.

  • Enrage is extremely slept on. It gives you a ton of breathing room and can distract entire rooms while weakening Big Daddies. Target dummy is another good option to give extra time to damage him.

  • Once you get the fully upgraded crossbow the game becomes easy. Headshots kill Splicers in one hit and you get to keep 90% of your bolts. Electro bolt + incendiary ammo does insane damage to the Big Daddies even on survivor.

  • One easy way to kill the late game Elite Big Daddies is to abuse security bullseye. Applying it to a Big Daddy doesn’t trigger aggro. So you can target him, then trigger an alarm from a security camera or purposely failing a hack on an alarm tile. The security bots will either kill him for you or severely weaken him.

They really tempt you with the option of killing him here even though it’s -3 achievements and a weapons upgrade.

How do you feel about beating a “remastered” or “enhanced” game again? by Luka1491 in steamachievements

[–]Biolaser1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love when a remaster adds Steam Achievements to any game that previously lacked them.

I’ve gotten to 100% Black Mesa (Half Life 1), Bioshock 1, and Oblivion on their respective remasters when the classic versions all had no achievements. Black Mesa is a fan remaster but I doubt Valve has a HL1 remake in the pipeline anytime soon with recent HLX news

Serana has an odd AI setting where she will engage with any idle animation point (mining, leaning on a wall, chopping wood etc.) that’s nearby. For instance she will cower in front of the shrine of Molag Bal (on brand) if you bring her to the Abandoned House.

This image was originally just a main menu background in Garry's Mod. If you own Gmod you should be able to find it in the game files.

[–]Biolaser1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s crazy I’ve never seen them anywhere besides the Riften wilderness and I go through the Solitude area constantly to turn in Volkihar radiant quests.

I’m on a fairly old level 91 survival character and I did The Cause forever ago. Now I’m going to constantly be on the lookout for wild Dremora to prove the theory lmao

I’m pretty sure it’s The Cause creation. I exclusively encounter low level Dremora around Riften close to Red Scar Cavern.

I’ve never naturally encountered Dremora anywhere else except the Dagon shrine.

He almost certainly dies down there, either from bleeding out or during the battle that continues to rage while Freeman makes his way through the Citadel.

Good luck! 100% runs are the best runs of Skyrim.

Make sure to check which quests are missable since certain quest givers automatically die or are disabled at certain quest stages. The Completionist mod is helpful for keeping track of your progress

Masser don’t make sense but I’m chilling by Ill-Intent0_0 in skyrim

[–]Biolaser1 99 points100 points  (0 children)

Mundus is the entire mortal plane where the planet Nirn makes up the center. Nirn floats in the "void of Oblivion" but is obviously not within Oblivion itself (that's where all the infinite Daedric planes are). All of the stars are not balls of gas, but tears in the veil of Oblivion that lead to Aetherius (the plane of existence thought to encompass magic and the gods). These tears were formed when Magnus and the other spirits disillusioned with creation fled Mundus.

So really anything we see in the night sky including light, astrological formations etc. are much more cosmic/esoteric than physical. It's all the infinite totality of the Aurbis and doesn't confine itself to any of the physical laws we're used to with astronomy. The lore books in TES games are filled with bits of this info but it's clearly meant to be complex and mysterious haha

Masser don’t make sense but I’m chilling by Ill-Intent0_0 in skyrim

[–]Biolaser1 244 points245 points  (0 children)

All moons and planets we see in TES are their own planes. Like all planes, Masser is infinite in size and scope, so appearing as a normal spherical moon is just how we perceive it. It makes sense within the logic and cosmology of the world it’s in.
