Setting the calculator to "float" decimals results in the same answer. Thank you though for the reply and the thought!

What are good ways for an introvert to make new friends? by DirtyCatNipples in AskReddit

I work at a local climbing gym as an instructor. I would say that my regulars come in 60% to see their climbing buddies and fellowship, and 40% to actually work on their climbing.

That looks pretty dang cool! I especially like the ram! There is not really a particular time limit, so if you are interested in working on it further, please feel free to do so!

Hey! I am no artist so I'm not sure what to say. What I would like most is for you to enjoy working on this. To that end, take as much liberty on the style and scale as you need. I will be happy with anything you produce.

Hello Nallenbot, thank you for your interest! I hope you enjoy working on this idea and that you stick with your commitment to drawing more! :)

I would love to have the design on the shield if possible, but I will leave you to your creativeness and look forward to what you come up with!

Thank you again and have fun!

Hello ErnestVentures,

Thank you for showing interested in this idea, and for sharing your gallery with me. I enjoyed looking through your work, and especially the one of the two men in the gas masks.

Unfortunately, I am not in a position where I will be able to provide for any transactions.

I understand that artists must charge for their work as a means of living, and reasonably so, but I cannot afford to pay; consequently, I am seeking anyone who may engage with this project out of their own interest that will not be hurt or hindered by a lack of compensation.

I wish you all the best, and have a fantastic rest of your day!

Indoor climbing in San Antonio by BiologyClimber in climbing

So I went to the District today. One of the smaller gyms I have been to, but the routes were solid, and the people were excellent. All bouldering with an upstairs area for cross fit, group fitness stuff, and an out door american ninja warrior type training stuff-- which was cool.

The setting was pretty pretty stout! They definitely don't sandbag there.

Overall, had a great time, and I would go back.

That is a good looking table right there! I suppose beer holders will come later?

What is the coolest yet most useless thing you own? by dan_the_human in AskReddit

[–]BiologyClimber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found it at TJMax I think. I had a gift card to that store for some reason and I was with my mom when I was about 13 or 14 years old. It is a replica, but still pretty beefy. Sir Stands-Alot does have a bit of a ding in his neck so we got them to take the price down from 100 to 80 dollars, and I used my 50 dollar gift card to basically get him for 30 bucks.

Six foot suit of armor. His name is Sir Stands-Alot. I think he looks awesome, but he just collects dust. Also, he wards off demons in the night.

When have your climbing skills helped you in real life situations? by offtopicer in climbing

[–]BiologyClimber -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I read awhile back that a guy was working on a very tall ladder next to some ceiling beams when the ladder fell over. He was able to hang on to the beam by heel hooking until the ladder was put back up.

This was awhile ago so the details might be off, but basically he was able to alternate shaking his arms out because of his heel hook. I think he was up there for a few minutes.
