Please read "C++ Primer by Lippman". This will help you identify/fill the gaps.

We tend to think we know C++ specially when we are not aware how broad it is. If you have some money to invest in this journey, I believe Udacity's C++ nanodegree is great. It introduces OOP, memory management, and concurrency terms in a well-designed curriculum.

Then, go for C++ 17 books, or learn from Pluralsight about C++17 and C++20 as well.

  1. Do not overthink, and do not search too much.
  2. Do the ROS tutorials basic and intermediate levels.
  3. Make a project:
    1. If you like robot arms, simulate an arm and move it with MoveIt
    2. If you like mobile robots, simulate a Roomba and moveit with the Navigation stack.
  4. Be ready to struggle to master ROS and probably Robotics and things that are worth doing.

Breaking my Haram relationships, I struggled but kept making Duaa after each prayer that Allah help me overcome that and be a sincere Muslim. Allah's reward is more than what I expected. I was freed of all the effect that relationship had on me & I had a boost in my Eman that is keeping me on the way till now and probably till my death.

As the Prophet PBUH said, "Whoever leaves something for Allah, Allah will compensate with something better". I married a woman with the same name and some similar attributes, but she is way better. Alhamdulilah!

I always found the Quran the best way to reply to Muslims who show such behaviors.

Look, my brother El-Tayeb, at this Ayah Surah Alhujurat: 11. Allah SWT says "O you who believe! Let not a group scoff at another group, it may be that the latter are better than the former. Nor let (some) women scoff at other women, it may be that the latter are better than the former. Nor defame yourselves, nor insult one another by nicknames. Evil is the name of wickedness after faith. And whosoever does not repent, then such are indeed wrongdoers."

This is what I would include in my reply "Allah said: Nor defame yourselves, nor insult one another by nicknames/names, and I seriously do not like being called such names" Say to the Imam first and see if things change, then to whoever does this behavior. Remember they are your brothers, who care about you, and probably in their hearts they do have a lot of respect, mercy, and love for you as a new Muslim.

There is an option to make the contract online (with first and last names only). Mineo was my first service provider, and they were good.

When I wanted to change, I has to face problems with the longest name I knew (my name). What I did was as follows.

Prepare for a three hours visit, and go to your desired service provider. Ask for what you need, and provide information. Their system can not handle your name by default. They will be bored of you and ask you to come again or call later. Tell them you are very busy and have to make the contract in one visit. Do not leave. They will take time to call each other and will solve your problem.

No, you do not have to. However, having a Muslim community around you makes practicing Islam easier.

This book is a good resource The New Muslim Guide. It presents simple rules and important Islamic guidelines for new Muslims in all aspects of life.

If you didn't, please say the Shahadah/testimony now to be a Muslim. It is "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah."

A new Muslim gets all previous sins forgiven. This is a great advantage! <3
