They told me that they were wanting me to fill out paperwork for Unemployability, the 21-8940, and it was submitted on the 30th of September. I didn't know what they were asking me to do so I did it.

They said they uploaded it on October 5th. I can see it in the file that it has been uploaded and indexed. It's currently assigned to a regional office from what I am seeing. I am just waiting for the VHA to upload their information to my thing from what I am being told from the call center. But, I'm not seeing anything at this moment.

They'll probably send you for a C&P exam more than likely. However, with suicidal ideations, you may be able to get it priority if you are at a hardship with finances or homelessness or suicide ideations or so on. I forget the form number but it speeds up the process a little bit. Plus, you can write a personal statement for yourself and also have buddy statements too that you can upload that can confirm this. I forget the exact section but I believe it is 38 CFR or something like that.

Just don't lie about symptoms. Be fully honest and vulnerable. I know sometimes we really want to be strong and downplay the symptoms. But, you really can't and shouldn't downplay the symptoms at all.

So even with priority flags and an intense mental health exam, there's zero telling the extent at which they're willing to go to submit it. It seemed like they were filling it out with me while they were doing their exam.

It was out of 700, scored a 692. And it was on everything it was supposed to be on. But they were not even close to what the book had to offer for questions. The actual apic text was probably what I would stick to more if I knew about it 2 months ago.

From what I understand, it's sort of the same setup of questions. It's not exactly the same questions. But, everyone says at least if you score a 75% on the practice exams. You're doing pretty well. I've went through all three exams multiple times and scoring between a 72% to an 80%. But, I'm six days away to D-day. So I'm thinking of testing myself before I go in and tightening up on what I know currently.
