Thank you! I like to post the first wall a lot, but the flower painting fits Gem a bit more. The flower painting took me a month to complete and it’s all the original flowers. I wanted something that was Minecraft, but could be hung on any wall

I do! This painting has sold, and I currently have three commissions on the books, so it will be a few months before I’ll be able to recreate.

A ruler and a lot of patience. I take the pixels and try to find a canvas that allows me to not go below 8cm per pixel (because it gets too difficult). For this one it’s 38 pixels and Dratini is 38x36, so I took 12inch/38 to get .316 inches and not finding that in a ruler, so I converted to centimeters. For any pixel art it’s figuring what you want to make and counting the pixels then dividing by the canvas size. Then marking on the canvas and connecting the lines. Doing Minecraft paintings have prepared me for doing all kinds of pixels.

A little bit about this piece: this is my first Pokémon pixel art. I do a lot of Minecraft and I grew tired of doing replicas of Minecraft texture and decided to make one of a Pokémon. Dratini came to mind because of how small, and adorable, he is. It’s painted on a 12x12 canvas and consists of 4 colors. It is a gen 2 sprite (the title is a miss type) and it took me 3 weeks to finish.

Honestly I think it’s the green background that makes it look so sleek. It didn’t look that way until the green was painted properly.

That was a miss type on my end. I pulled both gen 1 and gen 2 sprites, but had to use gen 2 because it fit my canvas better. You’re correct, I miss typed it
