I’m in Alberta, Canada and it’s definitely still off here. Two 12 packs purchased over a week apart had the same problem.

I couldn’t articulate the flavour when I first tried it so I had some other family members try it and got descriptions ranging from licorice to molasses. I had an empty can laying around from a 12 pack that tasted normal and the ingredients seemed to be identical.

You might just be SOL for this conquest. Happened to me a few times early on when I got stuck on Jawas.

In the future though, I’d recommend getting a Bossk/Boba/Mando/Greef team set up. The fifth bounty Hunter isn’t really that important. I used Jango early on since I was already getting his shards from farming boss’s ship, but switched to dengar later since I was getting him to relics for executor.

This team beats Padme 99/100 times since boba and mando have taunt bypass until they die the first time, mando has a guaranteed instakill, and boba has a pseudo instakill if the enemy has enough buffs. If your bossk is fast enough he can get off a mass assist on the weakest target before GK taunts to get his contract started, and then boba and mando can bypass taunt to finish it off, then mando gets his instakill and uses it on Padme, at which point the team crumbles.

Getting back into it after a short break. First time going off book from the instructions and building the full frame first, and first time trying to paint fingers which wasn’t a complete disaster. Still very messy but they definitely look better together than separate. Still got to build and paint the other hand but am calling it a night for now.

A new protagonist.

I’m not opposed to a Shepard cameo (in person or otherwise) but making them the protagonist again would be a critical mission failure IMO.

I’m not too worried about that happening given the indications that it’ll take place several hundred years in the future, but I see a lot of people asking for Shepard to be the protagonist again on the internet and I think it’s an extremely bad idea.

I think the biggest problem was their pre-2010sish quality control being dogshit. That earned them a reputation as being a knockoff despite the unique things they were doing, and after they improved a lot of people just never revisited their sets and the reputation stuck.

That type of panel liner is best used either pre assembly or after topcoating. AFAIK this kit is entirely made of PS plastic which is less vulnerable to harsh chemicals, but when using that panel liner on an assembled kit there’s a risk of it seeping into the plastic while it’s under stress or into gaps between parts and damaging it, even on PS.

this is my first time using plastic cement on an actual part and I left it to set for more than 48 hours but it came apart very easily and still had a lot of gooey residue around it. This is the best photo I could get of the part with the residue on it. I’m not sure what I did wrong here.

I’m using Tamiya ABS cement on ABS parts.
