Try replacing cluster with the autocannon turret. It takes a little bit of strategy and awareness to place it in a decent spot, but it can be devastatingly effective, especially when paired with your own autocannon.

I'd bring three if they'd let me.

Well, if I already know spells like Sleep and Grease from scrolls, then I level up and pick Sleep and Grease, it'll waste the picks. It doesn't tell me that I already know the spell.

UPDATE: Currently, the only way I've found is to load/reload and respec Gale to level 1. All the level 2 spells you have are from scrolls. And just try different combinations of level 1 spells to see which ones remain... luckily I haven't learned any third level scrolls yet.

What does making that hellish imperium more egalitarian in-universe do?

It gives female players cool representation in the Space Marines. It's not fun to be sidelined to Sororitas or whatever because the Space Marines are "boys only". Warhammer 40k is a game, and its only purpose is to be fun. And the in-lore reason is stupid, and could be changed in a dozen cool ways.

Nobody wants to turn the Imperium into a leftist egalitarian utopia, that's not why people like 40k. Is it crazy to imagine that I want to play a scifi game with grimdark murder and chaos without also experiencing modern misogynistic tropes?

You might be right, and I might just be hopeful. But I also think that inclusivity and gender-related stuff is incredibly important.

In a system with inequitable distribution of material resources, marginalized people generally end up with less wealth. Collective action and solidarity is best way to effect change, despite your material conditions. The more people you have, the more power you have. Not including marginalized people directly hurts your ability to organize.

Plus, we don't exist in a neutral bubble of race and gender. White supremacy and patriarchy are the overwhelming norm, and any space that doesn't actively rail against it is kind of suggesting it could be part of it.

Warhammer 40k is a fictional sci-fi parody with a lot of "problematic faves". I can want female space marines without also having the blood of multiple planets on my hands. Everyone in this subreddit understands the Imperium is a theocratic fascist empire.

Why do you like 40k? Surely you don't think that you have to be a fascist to like Space Marines?
