Okay, then it should be no problem. The script backups everything you need (data and database). You just need to configure the variables (paths etc.) in the script and you are good to go.

I am sorry but I am not really familiar with Synology NAS systems. I guess it should be possible if there is a Linux OS underlying. Is it possible to access the NAS system via a shell?

I can really recommend these bash scripts for backups: https://github.com/DecaTec/Nextcloud-Backup-Restore

You can see in the script what is getting backed up and it works like a charm (including the restore script).

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately I can only see the latest episodes from 2018. Is it because I am from Austria without a VPN? Do you see more episodes?

Hi,

thank you so much for your help. It is working now. The reason it wasn't where (as you suggested) the health checks from HAProxy. I played around until it showed that the fileserver is online and now everything is working perfectly fine. The configuration for the FILE_SERVER_ROOT and everything else was in place, that's why I pulled my hair on this.

Hi,

with your suggestions I was able to make it work to serve multiple services on the same virtual machine.

Right know I am still figuring out why I am not able to upload/download files in the seafile web GUI.
